I am making this post after watching this forum since MID FEB which is exactly when the MU phase of the show took place & the trps started slipping down.

im just curious to know how did the Fan Groups exactly develop - which is Sanaya fans & Barun fans in particular.

when I was not part of the forum all i used to think was about the story, the highlights of the show & stuff like that later it became anjali & her ODD behaviour

i never took the show seriously or may be i should say did not find the need to ponder too much over it untill the hate marriage which was a turn off which led to the forum to know why has this happened

outside IF this fan group concept actually does not exist

when i re joined i found out about this groupism existing & making a post to prove which fan group is better or something like that

at a certain point i feel why should the viewers who admire SaRun equally & ARHI be subjected to this unending groupism issue while they happen to join IF ??

i became a hard core Sanaya / Khushi "fan" in this Forum due to the groupism i saw but outside this forum im their equal viewer! i admire both equally come what may !!

Note : this is not to create a fight just to know what went wrong & where & IF you cannot have a healthy & sane discussion do not bother commenting at all.

i do not want this thread to be an excuse for a fan group war zone

1) no bashing any one at all

2) no comparisons to any one

3) do not bring any other topic in this

im just sheer curious to know how this all happened & do let me know if u feel the same or is it just me all this while

This is the most bizzare idea of some members to turn the forum into a battleground of Barun vs Sanaya. It gets on my nerves honestly. I am a Sarun fan but more tilted towards Khushi because I love her character in the show. So sad that they have butchered her character in the show. I refuse to be categorised into a clique. I support them both equally and no one dare say that I am biased towards either Barun or Sanaya.

Forming groups and bonding for a common cause is one of the oldest trait which we have imbibed from our ancestors..this is how we are and will always be...Regionalism, religion,culture etc are bonding factors in real world but in virtual If world it is characters/actors and other things of interest...

I am not at all into character or actor based obsession but I do admit that i interact more with people with whom i can have a sane discussion the POV may differ...I am biased in this case

Swami track was my 1st episode of IPK..my curiosity to know the story increased when they showed flashbacks of their wedding and some romantic moments.

Then I started watching all the episodes from day 1...I had never thought a daily soap could be so addictive..i finished the 200 odd episodes in a week..

And I fell in love with the show..the magical couple Arnav and khushi and the actors Barun and Sanaya..

Some comment on YouTube had mentioned some spoiler from mishti and that led me to IF..

Initially i was a silent observer, eventually found a group of like minded people who according to me have objective views and truely love the show.

I personally am a fan of the couple and think that they both are good actors and have been doing justice to their respective roles.

Groupism definitely exists cause there are some who identify with Arnav and some with Khushi.

I prefer to stand by the character which is right. I choose to keep my opinions unbiased. So there a times I am a Khushi supporter and there are times when my vote goes out to Arnav.

The characterisation is such and the story has been woven in manner that I invariably tend to empathise with Khushi.

this is an absurd thought of some ppl to create Barun V/s Sanaya

I love them both so much i cant ever express.

I am more attracted to barun sobti but that never meant i dont know the value sanaya posessses.

If i criticised ASR, KHushi ...

i always meant the writers, because they are not real.

There is no point blaming Barun for asr or blaming Sanaya for Khushi

But i have certain opinions against BARUN SOBTI for his certain decisions and acts.. I like him, i care for him and as an admirer i have full right to express what i dont like too

True that Harshu.. I was/am/will be a Sarun admirer and loved the show to bits for what it was till the hate wedding. That's when the forum divided itself.. It became Sanaya or Barun fans..You had to choose posts to reply and be careful with what you said lest it was taken as bashing.

I admire Sarun and love them. Why this division i wonder? Is it the story that has to be blamed totally for this? Gul has a lot to answer for the chaos she created with the story.

There are many who have even stopped being active due to this groupism.. We have to resort to our respective threads to share opinions (which i find good anyway). But this wasn't the case before where one participated in all threads and the forum was at peace.

I donno whom to blame for this kind of groupism? the show or the fans? or both? 😕

yeah the groupism gets on my nerves

I am still a sarun fan

But more of a Khushi fan because she is a lovely person in the show

So I refuse to get tied down

and I dare anyone to accuse me of being biased to either barun or sanaya

because i support them equally
