Sonam Kapoor To Play Rekha

Won't filmmakers ever tire of remaking South films or, for that matter, old Hindi movies? It appears that Anil Kapoor is set to remake yesteryear's hit Khoobsurat, which had Rekha playing the title role. We're told that no director has been named yet but Kapoor has already started work on the film. No prizes for guessing that the leading lady in this new version of Khoobsurat will be Sonam Kapoor.

I thought the title meant she is going to play "Rekha" as in a film based on Rekha's life lol

Oh i loved khoobsorat. If im not wrong it had a famous song "sun sun sun didi teray liye" LOL

I think sonam will suit the part!

Oh, lord! Nepotism needs to stop in Bollywood. Rekha was a class apart in the movie Khoobsurat. Sonam's gonna damage that image, for sure. Btw, why does Anil Kapoor remind me of AB Sr. here? 😳

Your daughter's a flop actor, sir. I hope you realize it before its too late.
