Mohammad Aman reminds me of Pandit Bhimsen Joshi

As I was listening to Mohammad Aman's chota khayal today, it brought tears to my eyes...My God!!, what a voice...and his taans are just out of the world...it reminded me of Pt. Bhimsen Joshi...its almost like a lion's roar in terms of power and clarity of each note...may God bless him...I hope he becomes one of the top classical vocalists in India...

I would love to have him sing the following -

1. Baiju Bawra title song - "Tori Jay Jay Kartar" in Raag Puriya Dhanashree sang by Ustad Amir Khan

2. Baiju Bawra song - "Aaj Gavat Man Mero" in Raag Desi sang by Pt. D.V. Paluskar and Ustad Amir Khan

3. Basant Bahar song - "Ketaki Gulab Juhi" in Raag Basant Bahar sang by Pt. Bhimsen Joshi

4. Mughal-e-Azam song - "Prem Jogan Ban Ke" sang by Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan

Aaj gawat man mero would be interesting between Aman and Viswajeet or Jasraj.

I also hope he becomes one of the top classical singers in India. Over here, when people (non-Indians) think of Indian music, they think about Indian classical music. I'm so proud to hear someone so young being so trained. He can keep India's classical roots, that I feel sometimes gets lost in the Western music crazy, in India!

Love Vijay Prakash's deep voice...He would have done justice..

Rafi saab's songs are so very tough to sing and most fails...Abhaash Joshi was one who sang those pretty well..
