I'm bringing this up because I don't know if anyone noticed yesterday that the teacher adressed her as Sanchi Mathur? So I guess she's hasn't changed her name then?

i would def vote for YES to change her last name. that is not going to make her any less than what she is now. moreover, it is a custom to change the name. to make her parents' name roshan she does not need to keep her last name.

yes, but if no one changes a custom wont we stagnate? whats life without rebellion...? it may not mean much to you but for a lot of women its an expression of self worth and a new wave of feminism 😊
