Part 9:

It was 02:00 am at night.. And he was still not sleeping.. He was walking inside his room restlessly.. He wanted to speak to her.. To tell her that he was angry and thus he couldnt think of anything else at that time.. But what would he reply if she asks him WHY A KISS? He opened his door and then walked down to get some fresh air .. He came to the small garden before the house and to his surprise he saw Khsuhi in her night dress closing her eyes, folding her hands and praying something.. PRAYING? At this Time?? Was she Ok?

He walked near her making sure he doesnt disturb her prayers and stopped when he could hear what she was talking to her Devi Maiyaa..

Khushi (To Devi Maiyaa): But this is not right.. How can he just KISS me? I mean I know I too am at fault.. But he Kissed me first.. You know that.. I didnt initiate it.. This was my First Kiss Devi Maiyaa and that too from HIM.. I dont understand what it was.. Was it Right? Or was it Wrong? THis Laad Governor confuses me so much these days.. I dont even know how I need to face him from tomorrow.. Give me some strength Devi Maiyaa.. I need it.. Please..Please..Please..Please..Please..Please..

Arnav couldnt believe what he just heard.. "LAAD GOVERNOR".. THis was the same name she took when she was drunk.. He remembered the sentence she told regarding this Laad Governor that night..

"Only my Laad Governor can touch me like that.. Dont try to hold my hand.. If he sees you.. He will kill you.."

So did that mean he was her "Laad Governor" .. She liked him? He remembered her sentence during their first day in Lucknow this time when she came home late and he started shouting her..

"Dont worry Arnav.. I wont sleep with Adi.. Because he is not my CRUSH.. Daadi knows it and now you too.. "

Does that mean HE - Her Laad Governor - Was her first crush?? Arnav remembered all the times in the past years when he came to meet Daadi and her, how she tried to impress him by her talks and actions.. Those days he never understood what she meant by all this.. But now He does.. He remembered how in the past 3 years she stopped being at Home when he came to meet them. She was never at the House since he always got Lavanya with him.. So she was affected.. Seeing him with someone esle.. Affected her?? He remembered how few days back when he was zipping Lavanya's dress and Khushi entered accidently in their room, he could remember how much she was trying to calm her anger seeing them so close.. What was that Anger for? Was it becasue she hated seeing Lavanya with him? Why? After much much thoughts Arnav could finally conclude this.. Yes.. So Khushi Gupta had a Crush on him and may be it was something more than Just a Crush..

She opened her eyes and continued Speaking to her Devi Maiyaa making Arnav aware that he needed to hide somewhere..

Khushi (To Devi Maiyaa): I hope you understand what I am going through.. Please Devi Maiyaa.. I dont want to break Lavanya's heart.. She is so nice to me.. Please give me enough strength to see them together always.. Please. Good night..

Saying this she walked back towards the main door and Arnav waited for some time and then movd back in his room. After hearing her short conversation with her Devi Maiyaa.. Arnav was surely not getting sleep anymore.. He had heard many such confessions till now from many girls who told him how much they have fallen for him.. But he never ever cared .. But today her Single sided Confession with her Devi Maiyya was bothering him.. What should he do next? What was his thoughts for her? He was damm confused to think anything about this right now.. He just leaned on his bed and tried getting some sleep..

It was next morning and Khushi was serving breakfast for everyone at the table when the door bell rang.. Daadi was about to get up but she denied ..

Khushi: I will see who it is.. You and Lavanya continue with the breakfast..

Saying that she rushed to open the door.. As soon as she opened the door she could see the entire Raizada Family before her and Anjali screaming at the top of her voice.. "SURPRISE"

Khushi almost got a Heart Attack seeing the family here.. This was the first time in last 10 years that they were ever visiting Lucknow and that too Sheesh Mahal>. She just smiled at them. They thought Daadi would be opening the door.. But seeing her they stopped screaming and smiled.. She smiled back and moved aside..

Khushi: Thats a real Surprise..

Everyone walked inside and Daadi and Lavanya started hugging them.. Khushi closed the door and walked in..

Lavanya: Thank God Di.. You are here.. Atleast ASR will get some free time for us now.. Or else he is always busy in his work. (She said pouting her lips and everyone laughed)

Khushi faked a smile and Daadi saw her standing behind everyone at a corner..

Daadi: Khushi.. Why are you standing there? Come here? Dont feel shy... Come..

Khushi smiled and walked to Daadi.. Hearing the voices of his family down, Arnav was surely surprised and he was now walking down the stairs to meet them.. Khushi saw him coming and she started breathing hard.. She could see he was all calm and he didnt show a repentance at all on his face.. Guys are always like that.. And if not others.. Her Laad Governor was surely like that.. But was she happy with the fact that he wasnt affected by their kiss? No.. She had expected him to be a little sensible and explaining her why he did something like that.. But her guesses were wrong.. May be this was common for him.. He had kissed so many girls may be.. Including Lavanya and hence that inexperienced KISS from her.. Didnt matter to him..

Arnav started meeting his family and Khushi wasnt able to stand there.. She told Daadi ,that she would get the tea ready for all and she left in the Kitchen..

Khushi was making the tea ready when Anjali came inside ..

Anjali: Khushi.. Why are you here? You dont need to make tea for all of us.. We can do it..

Khushi: No Di.. You all must be tired.. Get freshen up, I will get your tea to your rooms..

Anjali: How sweet Khushi.. Thanks so much..

Anjali smiled and left the Kitchen.. Khushi made the tea for all and then asked the Maids to take it in the individual rooms.. Only Anjali and her husband's tea Khushi thought of taking herself since all the other Maids were busy in serving others.. She walked to Anjali's room and knocked the door..

Shyam opened the door and smiled at her.. She smiled back and came inside..

Khushi: Jeejaji.. THis is your Green Tea..

She said keeping the tray on the table inside and then turning back to the Couch.. She was surprised to see Arnav sitting with Anjali and talking to her.. And now they both were watching Khushi..

Shyam took his cup from Khushi's hand and then replied back..

Shyam: Thanks Khushi.. Where is your cup? Join us for Tea..

Arnav and Khushi looked at each other and Khushi was totally embarrased again to see him before her.. She tried to look down and then to Anjali but never to him again..Arnav could easily see how much she was hiding from him. But he didnt show it to her.. He continued his talks with Anjali and Khushi walked to Shyam..

Khushi: No Jeejaji.. I am getting late.. I have some important meetings today..

She hurridly walked till the Door when she heard Arnav calling her name..

Arnav: Khushi .. Wait..

She stopped and closed her eyes not turning back.. When she heard his another statement..

Arnav: I am going for work too.. I will drop you..

Hearing her confession may be a good thing or a bad thing but one thing is for sure she doesn't want to hurt Lavanya in the whole process. Arnav is truly being a laad governor.

Aww poor khushi! Now she has to hide her feelings even more and show fake happiness, it would be so hard for her! Wonder what will arnav do now? He is going to drop her to work!? Will she let him!?
