I wrote this before I read PS's very depressing tweet... I'm so sad now! đ
One year later...
Sanchi is standing at the window of their new home thinking of her darling husband.. What a year this had been.. But now its past and it is Indu & Sanchi's first wedding anniversary. Indu has gone to his village to meet his father who is ill.. Sanchi couldn't go as she had her exams.. Indu had been so understanding.. đ
"Sanchi tum chinta kaahe kar rahi ho.. Hum bapuji ke paas jaa rahe hai.. Tum bas chauchak number se taap karo pareeksha mein.."
Bapuji and Maiya had been sweet too.. But Sanchi is missing Indu..
'Humari pehli anniversary pe hum saath nahi hai!' she thinks.
What a change has come over Indu in the past year. She still remembers how they had spent a week apart when Indu had lied to her and beaten up Pathak uncle.. She had been so angry and felt so betrayed! Indu had not let her leave the house but had gone to his hostel room instead..
*FLASHBACK*
Sanchi and Indu have been separated for a week now.. Both are truly heartbroken. Sanchi is not taking Indu's calls.. Or messages.. She ignores him at campus too.. She has given him an ultimatum-
"Ab hum tumhari baaton par vishwas nahi karenge.. Tumhein apne kaam aur apni mehnat se humara vishwas jeetna hoga.."
As she reaches near campus gates, Sanchi is sad and thinking about Indu.. Is he ok.. Has he eaten.. Does he sleep well..? Suddenly, something catches her eye.. A banner!
'SANCHI STATIONERY SHOP'
A new shop has come up just outside the college premises.. And behind the counter stands her husband, Indu Singh!
'Indu ki shop!' Sanchi exclaims.
She moves towards it. Indu spots her and rushes out.
'Sanchi hum ekdum sach keh rahe hai.. Humne gundagardi chhod di.. Ab hum ee kaam karenge.. Poori mehnat se karenge.. Plij humka maaf kar do..', says Indu.
'Humein bahut khushi hai Indu ki tumne yeh faisla liya hai.. Par hum kaise vishwas kar le.. Yeh dukaan bhi tumne najaane kisse uthayi ho..', Sanchi has tears in her eyes.
Indu wipes them away.. 'Tum ee naahi socho ki hum sirf tumka manaane ke liye ye sab kar rahe hai.. Tumse door rehkar humka ehsaas hua ki tumhare bharose ki kya keemat hai humre liye.. Hum sach kehte hai, tumhe dukh dena nahi chahte the.. Par tumhein khone ke darr se humne sach nahi bola.. Tum sahi thi, humein ab apni galti ka ehsaas hai.. Hum Pathak ji se milne gaye the.. Unka dukh, unki patni aur bachon ke aasu dekh kar humka ehsaas hua ki humne kitne logon ko dukh diya hai.. Humka maaf kardo.. Bharosa rakho.. Ee dukaan ke liye humne apne bapuji se udhaar liya hai.. Tumhari kasam, lautai denge..' đ
Sanchi hugs Indu!
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Though Indu's intentions had been good, the shop had gotten embroiled in a po*n scandal orchestrated by Prabal's brother, Deven. But Sanchi had stood by Indu's side and they had gotten past that storm.. But the name of the shop had been ruined and Indu had had to sell it.. How sad he had been that day..
She had motivated him to start a new line of work.. When she thought of that conversation, even today, she felt like laughing...!
*FLASHBACK*
I: Kyu na hum dhaba khol de?
S: Dhaba? Nahi nahi.. Uske liye toh bahut saare licenses chahiye honge.. Saaf suthri achi jagah.. Acha bawarchi.. Aur tumhari vanar sena bhi pure din wahan halla karegi.. Nahi.. Humare paas ab Bapuji ke diye utne paise bhi nahi bache..
I: Hmm.. Toh hum.. Hum gubbarein bechenge!
S: Gubbarein? Indu mazak mat karo.. Gubbarein bechke bhi kuch kamai hoti hai kya..
I: Hum na bodyguard ka kaam karenge!
S: Salman Khan banne ki koi zarurat nahi.. Maar peet ya maar se bachane jaisa kaam karne ki koi zarurat nahi..
I: Arre par.. Itni achi humri baady ka kuch toh faayda ho! Tumka pata hai.. Hum footbaal, basketbaal, boxing ma champion hai!
S: Haan haan patidev.. Hum jaante- Idea! Indu, tum sports coach kyu nahi bann jaate? Humare area ke school mein job kyu nahi dhund lete? Tumhari stable salary bhi ho jayegi aur tum Bapuji ke paise bhi lauta paoge!
*END OF FLASHBACK*
That had truly been one of the best ideas Sanchi had ever had.. Indu had been an instant hit among the kids.. Slowly and steadily, he had become a consultant at a local sports center too.. This was a job he loved and enjoyed.. It invigorated him and gave him time for Sanchi too.. His image in society had improved a lot.. He was getting calls from youth parties too.. His hardwork had shown true success when he had won this year's student election against Deven..! How proud Sanchi was! Her mom and dad and Indu's parents had been so proud when Indu's bank loan was cleared and he and Sanchi had moved into their own home! This was just two months ago, when Indu had completed six months at his job.. Sanchi had been worried as to how they would manage expenses..
*FLASHBACK*
Since they had moved into their new house, Sanchi had wanted to get a job.. But she wondered what Indu's response would be.. He had always been supportive to her goals but would he be now.. Surely his traditional ideals would be against his wife working..
I: Kaha khoi ho Sanchi? Kaunu baat hai kya?
S: Indu.. Ab humara kharcha ekdum hand to mouth (i have no idea how to say that in hindi!) chal raha hai.. Koi bachat nahi.. Toh hum soch rahe the ki hum bhi..
I: Ki tum bhi kaunu kaam karlo? Yehi na?
S: Haan..!
I: Arre dharampatni ji, ee ma poochne ki kaunu baat hai ka? Ab hum pehle wale Indu na rahe.. Hum shikshak hai.. Samajhte hai ki har insaan ko apne pairon par khade hona pasand hai.. Kaam ki khushi ka haq sabko hai! Aur waise bhi.. Hum B.ED ki padhai ke kaaran utna kaam nahi kar paate aur tumka toh B.Com ma time milta hai na! IAS ke liye jaab ka anubhav nahi chahiye ka?
S: Oh Indu.. Tum kitne ache ho!
She had hugged him tight. She now worked part time in an accountancy firm. Indu really cared so much for her career! He had not let society's taunts affect her and had supported her decisions..
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Oh how much she misses her Indu today..! Her knight in shining armour! She sighs and suddenly someone covers her eyes from behind!
She turns around and its Indu!
I: Ka Sanchi, hum kya apni pehli saalgirah akele manaate ka?
Sanchi hugs him tight.. She is so happy.. Her life is so perfect now!
Indu kisses her hair and says, 'I lub you Sanchi'.. She laughs.. He still cant say 'love'.. 'I lub you too Indu'.. đł
My little take on InSa's eternal love story.. They always stand together.. Face all their problems with courage.. They are so brave and their love is so strong.. Kabhi RUK JAANA NAHIN...!
