Well guys, I just had a thought - Is it a possible to run a Indian soap where we don't have twists and turns that drive us crazy?!

I'm not being sarcastic..........but 95% of soaps I've watched have pretty much the same twists and there's always a villian - either male or female - who is not just bad, but can go to any extremes to prove this!

We see Niharika and Antariksh doing all sorts of stuff leading to ridiclous storylines and just pushing Sindoor forward day by day...........but many of the fab FF's I've read on I-F show that it is possible to have a good storyline where the villains don't act like crazy!

So why can't the writers and producers tone it all down a bit?!😕..............why can't Sindoor actually make some sense?!

yeah Indian soaps just like going into the unrealistic and more eventful world where theres no peace and something happening all the time...theres no time to rest in their world

most indian serials stretch it so far as to make the storyline completely dull. couple of points to notice. in almost all the serials that I have watched, a couple of themes remained the same.

the villains are super-smart and they are omnipresent. no matter what happens, the villains always have their ears and eyes open. this is in direct contradiction to the good guys' character who are portrayed as having a very big heart but no brain. "tumhari disha" was a prime example where disha was a total air-head. most of the good guys don't hear or see things even when they are only a couple of feet away from some event.

that is only one aspect. then comes the marrage stuff that I don't want to get into right now. Person A marries B, B marries C and D, D is somehow related to A in the past, E appears out of nowhere and happens to be D's son or daughter etc..

bottomline is that none of the serials are at all creative and extremely ordinary. they may appear so for the first couple of weeks, but then they can all be reduced to XYZ.

I agree. Most Indian soaps do that. Its sad, Sinndoor began off with such a great BANG and actually kept their ratings up for a while but sadly, now its gotton like every other show. I mean, do they even realize what kind of stories they are coming up with??
