Why I have a problem with Prashant...

I have been thinking about this for a long time now. Somehow, I can sympathesize with the Dubeys - they did give Aarti precedence over their own child, their own blood when he was wrong, and went against the society to get her a good husband. Today, if they are expecting something from Aarti - it is more so out of humanity (atleast, Shobha?) that she would not say NO to save someone's life. They still want to (or hope) that Yash will not become aware of Prashant (not sure how!) because Dubey does say he hopes Yash doesn't come with Aarti.

I have a few fundamental problems with this:

1. They were the one who asked Aarti not to spill the beans, not once, but twice. Now, when they want Ansh's bone marrow, they are expecting Aarti to be the one who handles this. That is grossly unfair, specially at a time Aarti is suffering from so much stress herself and has just begun to get some happiness.

2. I do not say they should not ask for help - they are between a hard and a rock - but they must think what impact this can have on Aarti's life, and what they need to do to ensure her damage is minimized. In this case, if God forbid, Yash gives up on her - she will be in the same situation, pregnant and divroced a second time around - with no support (I dont think Aarti will then come to the Dubeys for that) and perhaps no chance of a "punar vivah" again.

3. Prashant! Where do I start? He is repeatedly saying that He does not want to bring any harm to Aarti - magnanimous of him to say that. They are showing him hurt with comments when Aarti says Yash has done for Ansh what his real father would not have... etc. etc. And, he is some sort of a reformed man, who helped Aarti reunite with Yash. But!!!

- What on earth makes him think that if he was not there, Yash would not have found Aarti. He would have. :)
- Why on earth he has no remorse that he was NOT There even a bit for Ansh - leave Aarti future aside, What right he has to even expect that Ansh should help him. Why???
- Why on earth he is trying to tell Yash what to do - how to treat Aarti - did he ever treat her well? And, if yes, why did he leave Aarti in the first place? Is his character so flippant that he can madly romance Aarti, then leave her for Nida, etc. etc., what goes to say that his remorse is permanent!?!?
- Why does he rue or use Aarti's gifts still!?!?

I am so confused with his character. I have sympathy for him that he is suffering from Cancer, but other than that, I have no understanding why he can even expect Aarti to help him, or why cant he be sterner with his own parents to stay out of her life. He is really not doing anything to stop them. If I were in his place, I would not be able to face Aarti - but!?!?!

agree with you, prashant say that he try to change and not harm aarti but his actions will cause a big storm to her life, as for the dubey i can understand their situation but they should help aarti as well by advicing her to tell the truth and why not being with her when she tell yash , and try to make him understadnd the situation, o god they just tell aarti and expect her the handle the situation , this people need a reality check up 😒

Prashant is someone who cannot stand strong on his desicion, basically a weak person. So, even if he's saying that he doesnt want to come in between Arya, I have a BIG doubt about that.
He's someone I cannot trust.
Yes, he said he doesnt want to ruin Aarti's life but somewhere he hopes that she will help her and that's why he is not so determined in opposing his parents, because he loves HIS life a little TOO much.

Lets see what happens... and what we get. If he is actually a transformed man than I am more than happy but if not then, I donno how much hate he's gonna receive from all of us😆

Prasants illness is a seperate issue but his character for a reformed man , he gives Yash an idea for a surprise exactly what he did when he was with Aarti so that alone tells me he wanted Aarti to think about him he could of gave an idea without the pacfic dishes and smiles and heart ballons right .
so then how did he reform
ok fine he tells his parents he will not harm Aarti's life is Ansh not her life too .
Prasant has baseless claims just to fit the minute thats all

I don't feel bad for him. At the end you get what you deserve. Now he should suffer alone and shouldn't have come back to his parents home. Aarti doesn't owe anything to him and shouldn't do anything for him.
He may feel guilty about what he has done in the past but that doesn't erase the fact that he did something wrong.

Today he goes to meet Ansh - unlike his meeting with Yash which was a chance - goes to prove again, I dont want to trust this man. If he is truly reformed he would go away from Aarti and Ansh's life. He is just remorseful - but he has not reformed. Selfish he is, selfish he was. Selfish he will be. Why does he need to meet Ansh???
