The maths of it is confusing 😆 But like i said, i very much doubt that they ardently practice any of these religions ... but it is a very interesting mix there.

As someone on that other Alia thread said that her German granny is a Jew, if that's true, Alia & Shaheen are 1/2 Hindu, 1/4 Muslim, & 1/4 Jew.

May be that calligraphy thing is a memento of Mahesh' mum. Or if we scan his house we might find symbols of every religion they are related with.

^or they practice none! is it that important? even the Khan families are all mixed. now the Kapoors have also joined with KKK 😃

soon we won't be able to identify people based on their religiion, ethnicity or culture or looks. and I like that. we won't be able to stereotype. we will be all unique and interesting. hope we learn to live with differences and not fight over them!

No, not really. All Ya Ali Madad is just really meaning help me, Ali. A Sunni or Shia could chant that and it wouldn't make much difference. Shias consider Hazrat Ali to be the first caliph of Islam while Sunnis consider Hazrat Abu Bakr..hence, Shias tend to chant Ya Ali Madad more.

on topic: I find Alia way prettier than her sister...Pooja just always screamed awkward to me.
