My description of Vikram from what was shown, is that he has an outstanding & honourable character, an amicable personality, not flamboyant, but humble, with a good strong disposition. He is mature, has many years of experience of coping patiently with whatever life throws at him, even through the roughest times he has persevered and helped others. He knows how to go about his business and work. He knows how to deal with his enemies. Therefore, I believe that such a man like Vikram, would never fall below the level of the worst, no matter how many troubles he has had in his life. He would not become crazy, or the sorry state which the CV's wants us to see, because he would know what to do in such crisis.
I think this quote describes his courage, best:
'Someone once asked me how I hold my head up so high after all I've been through.. It's because, no matter what, I am a survivor. Not a victim.'
Even if he were to pushed to the far extreme, it would be unlikely since he has all the resources & wealth to start a fresh life. Vikram would neither be a victim or a psychopath because he has capabilities to ensure he doesn't fail and plenty of life experience & choices. Let's also not forget how he pacified TJS and negotiated calmly to return home even though his enemies prevented him from entering outside by guarding his front door. His refined strong character has already been hammered and forged in place, throughout his life. In real life, a mature man of virtuous character in that situation would do something positive to improve his situation and not sit back or allow to be trodden all over, more over he would be prudent to keep close friends that would support him. Even if he hasn't any friends, he would either divorce, leave, or as you said, throw out those who don't belong there and those who are trying to destroy him.
However, in these lengthy Indian serials, CVs make those choices, so the true picture of a strong, chivalrous character is lost under the pen of the script writer. If he is depicted as a mad man then it is the writers who are now making Vikram appear as an an unreasonable power hungry man stalking after a woman he has left.
I believe that Vikram would not turn towards doing evil, because he has a good character which gives a person strength to cope with all of life's difficulties. I find this true, from personal experience & meeting good people. He knows how to keep his self-control. He has the choice to divorce Reeva, and live separately from her. He can find someone else to marry. He can leave and move away. He has a mobile phone, a car, wealth and finally he has so many opportunities to start all over again.
The story has been chopped and changed so much that I feel it is ruined, and I am not waiting to watch Vikram's character to be assassinated, by the CVs, it is also too depressing.
I also am outraged and this is the reason why I have stopped watching.
