Here are three observations from a more holistic point of view which I would like your comments on please:
1. There is an old English saying - No good deed goes unpunished
- On the first things TVS did was save G's life by taking her to hospital in his Jeep (which no other Thakur would do) when her Rai colleagues left her when she passed out
- he helped Sugni time and again when she and her family were in trouble
==> He has certainly been panished for that - he has been insulted, radiculed, verbally and physically been abused, has had his heart broken and now will be forced to endure watching his bhanja(son) have a relationship with his love.
2. Its my observation that in the world we live in today
- good decent people who always try and do the right thing always suffer and are judged harshly; while
- those that are selfish/ who do things that they think are right without any consideration for other peoples feeling always land on their feet and everyone loves them.
==> Thats the case here. TVS is a decent person who has tried to do the right thing and fate played a cruel trick on him. He lied once (I accept it was wrong) and he has been paying the price for it ever since.
Adi is a decent person but he has no right to interfer in his mama's marriage (regardless of how he feels about it). But he has done with dire consequences and he is going to be treated as hard done by/marter.
3. When we try to acheive something at any cost, when we ultimately achieve it, it does not live upto our expectation or it turns to ashes.
==>In this context Sugni an G have acheived their dream of Sugni being married and having a family.
She may find that the marriage does not live upto her expectation (she knew the kind of marriage she was going to have with TVS - a happy one where he would always stand by her side and protect her, deal with any problems, he found her jibber-jibber endearing, he knew she was not educated, worldly etc but it did not bother him, he knew she was hot headed and forthright and had to be dealt with calmly, love her unconditionally and do anything and everything to make her happy).
What she might get is something very different because Adi is not in love with her at the moment, he is young so less likely to be tolerant generally, cannot stand her jibber-jibber, the fact that she is not educated, worldly may prove that they don't have much in common, both are hot headed, and he is not old and mature enough himself to stand up and fight for her the way TVS did.
That's why I would prefer it if TVS did obsession for a few weeks but then left them alone to fend and make something on themselves and see how their marriage actually turns out.

This who fiasco is unreal, and this could never happen in real. Yet the Cvs claim it is a true story. Even it is fictional, fictional stories are normally based of on possible happenings, there is no possibility for this to happen in real life and the Vikram takes all of this and not throw everyone out of his house.
This is absurd treatment of one person, and his crime certainly does not fit his punishment.😡

Gulabiya is a Mother, and I don't want to think of her punishment, even though I can't stand her. However, I want her and her entire family on the streets, begging for food and watch Sugni and Adi on the streets not being able to help them either.

sugni's family have no shame they will go to vikram and ask for money

Great thought Hillydee..
In real life any person in Vikram's shoes would have done something criminal.
I wonder how cv's are making other character so heartless?
Gulabia gave no expression when she knew Vikram has paid the money.how!!!!!!!!!Money is so valuable for her ,,she had to sleep with JT for money. If you are in such a condition where meeting your daily needs is difficult and you have to sell yourself to someone for it then how can you so blind when a person pays your huge hospital bill??????
Riva the mad horse ,the less said the better. She was concerned about the tightening cloth niranjan tied,😆 is this how she claims to love her husband??when vikram got hurt by gulabia she was standing like a stone. She has no heart to love him,,all pretending and the worst thing is vikram knows about that.
Adi the ever confused creature on planet.till now i dint understand was he married sugni to save his mama/mami from her or to save sugni from Vikram or to prove gulb. that thakur blood runs in his vain but he indeed a mahaan soul. After marriage he remembers Amrita.that too not how she will feel.will she able to understand his mahhan deed or not that is the main concern for him..He seems have a hunger to be famous as mahhan soul.
Seriously how the cvs can make this?do they think we are as****les ?

Payal Great Posts!!!

No good deed goes unpunished

I have had many moments with that proverb. It is in fact a serious reality.
I totally agree with you that this certainly applies TVS, he has constantly helped others, and it turns out bad for him.
Taking in his sister and his son after a failed marriage, only led to her getting him married to a nightmare.
Helping Sugni and her family for no apparent reason was also a nightmare, and that nightmare has been following him up to date.

However, since no good deed goes unpunished, it seems like our Dear Vikram is the only one who will suffer, because he is the only one with good intentions.
Of course our Dear Amrita had to suffer the same fate living out this proverb, due to her blind trust of a girl who would eventually take her man without a second thought.

Yes, in this world today, people who try to do the right thing often suffer and yes are judged constantly.
People who do wrong are just loved for no reason, worshipped in many cases. If you ask those who love them, they never have no concrete reason, they just love them.😕

Trying to achieve something at any cost
Yes, it is obvious that Vikram did not live up to Sugni's expectations. It seems that even if Vikram got divorced it did not matter. Sugni felt more comfortable with Vikram's wife being dead or he was never married. What she does not understand that loves does not always come the way you want it, in the package you want.
Now, she chose another way with Adi, which is not the best circumstances either, but this reveals to me that Sugni ambitions were not filled with humility.
Why I say that, is that she chose the path of marriage, being better than Bednis, not the true path of love. Maybe if she did, she would have realised she never loved Vikram, and would have turned him down a long time ago, and spare everyone this heartache.
Now, she is doing the same thing, giving into a man because 'she wants to be married,' and ruining more lives again.

Your analogies of the Vikram acceptance of Sugni's ways versus Adi's is very good.

Just my two cents.

Thank you hillydee
I remember in the rain scene after TVS-Jiji battle Sugni was asking him that will he marry her, TVS said why do I get the feeling my love is not important to you and she said I cannot think stright when you are around. I need a yes or no answer- ya pyaar, pyaar hi rahaga or shaddi me bhi badalaga.
For TVS shaddi ek rasaam hai rista ki whereas for Sugni shaddi is the reason for a relationship. Fundamentally different.
I wonder how much lower CVs will sink TVS before he realises that she did not love him (the man) but loved what he could give her (a Shaddi), if indeed they will ever get to that point.
There is soo much scope for this character if only CV could get past their obsession with Adi-Sugni only story.

Wonderful post yaar. Absolutely right that vikram is the first and most decent person of PSH. He suffered a lot from his past. He did just one mistake that too to anchor his love to him. He should not be punished to such extent that his love(sugni) got married to his bhanja(adi) and live in front of him in the same house. Ridiculous. I hope ferverently that his adi-sugni marriage will not go much further and they get seperated in short of time. poor TVS.

I agree and love all the preceding posts, Added to them is, when Vikram was exposed and Sugni went back home, why:

a. She didn't leave town like her mother suggested to get away from Vikram

b. Why sell herself to the highest bidder who would have possibly abused her
c. Why go live in the house with the man she's trying to forget
d. Why not take up on the offer from Adi to release her of her commitment, leave the house and move to another town to start a new life
e. Why betray her friend Amrita and marry her fiance on the pretense that it's to get away from Vikram
I feel that Sugni is turning out to be not a nice person, her mother is no better. They are single handedly ruining a family and there was no need to. How is Vikram expected to accept her as his nephew's wife and live in peace? Adi's mother is going to be livid!!!!!

Excellent Points!!
As much as I had wanted Sugvi, and I would have handled Vikram differently from her, I would have respected her more if she had left the town and start over her life with her Mother.

Sugni is indeed a stubborn person from day one, and it has now lost its charm just by her ruining so many lives. Amrita did not deserve this treatment. Even if Adi did not love her, I would have preferred her heartbreak to happen in a different way, not with so much betrayal.
Sugni sees Vikram as her betrayer, and she wants to save his marriage, but yet she marries Adi and live in the same house she was going to be married to Vikram in? It is very hard seeing Sugni in a good light with all this.

You know, I often observe that someone can do you wrong, but if your reaction to it, is negative, it is your negative that others will dislike even more. Especially when better is expected of you.
Women should be the ones to guide. Vikram lied, Sugni should have showed him how wrong he was in such a way, that all this horrible drama would not happen, but Vikram would repent and learn never to make such decisions. I don't like when women are not leaders and they behave worse than men.
