It is not about the sari...

What was it about that Sari that created such a big fuss? According to Dipali, Madhu will lose the tag of being the ideal bahu and RK's 'pyari biwi' merely because she wore the sari🤔! Hmmm… so that means the significance must be huge. But seriously how much importance should be placed on a disillusioned woman who believes she will again rule the heart that beats of her alone and she wasnt even talking about Sikki🤔 (Another story that she cant even rule Sikki's heart!😆). So back to square one… what is with that sari? For me the reason that RK doesn't want Madhu wearing Dipali's or anyone else's sari is a valid reason! So forget the sari! I agree it was a boring episode… but despite that what I found interesting was the interaction between RK- Madhu!

RK- Madhu fought! But frankly, I didn't see their heart in that fight… both of them didn't want to fight. This was not about them sticking to their own ground… They were disappointed/upset because they felt the other did not understand them. That is surely a first in their relationship… they have come a long way to feel the need to be understood by the other.

Yes, RK was back in form to deter his wife from stepping out of that room in that sari… but he wasn't the cold, manipulative RK. For example, he could have told her to go if she wishes, but he will not attend the puja. She would have in no time agreed because the puja was for his wellbeing and he knows that! That would have been mind games that RK is a pro in. But his approach was straightforward and clear as it could get 'You are not going out in that Sari, Biwi!' He was adamant, not arrogant. It was more like the moments he was adamant for Madhu's wellbeing… the night at the studio! He looked very patient and had every intentions of waiting her out… he didn't slip into the 'are you going to change or shall I do it for you?' mode.

Madhu on the other hand really didn't have a valid reason to throw up a tantrum! I found Madhu's stand sillly at 1^st… having thought about it, I think she was simply resisting their relationship going back to square one. Her annoyance came from the fact that today was a momentous day for her in this new life. A day she wanted to feel like a new bride. Her seemingly indulgent husband by her side, her parents in the gathering, she being made to feel like the lady of the house by her mother in law and an auspicious way of being acknowledged as a couple… all that she would want. But instead here is her husband creating a fuss about a Sari! There were more important things to be done and her husband wouldn't understand that. Thus she is sulking.

So why was it so important for RK to have Madhu change out of that Sari? It was Dipali.. he has seen through her plan (whatever that is🤔), and he wants THEM to foil it. He has maintained from the beginning… He and Madhu are a unit when it comes to Dipali. He has never allowed Dipali to turn Madhu against him or vice versa. This is probably one of the reasons he never brushed aside Madhu's query regarding Dipali… though he remained non-committal he always made it clear that the woman doesn't exist for him. At the first given opportunity, he made apparent the truth about his past and his current status with Dipali (It was important because he wasnt aware that Madhu knew beforehand). I am not sure if he will give a reason to get Madhu to change, he just might! I don't know if Madhu will change without creating more fuss, she might! Either way what will matter at the end of the day is not if RK or Madhu won… what will matter is that both have won and an enemy has lost. When they come down, I don't want them coming down with a sulking face. Whoever relents, it is important the other be generous to cheer the person up. Their differences are their business to be dealt behind closed doors… Don't bring it to the living room with Dipali and Malik waiting for a chance to hold on to their delusions.
