Well according to me he was sad as well.
When he was in the corridor his eyes were moist but I think after loosing Roshni, he didn't allow himself to cry.
I agree, that he didn't love her as of yet, maybe if Riya stayed they would have fallen in love. Until today's episode, he considered her just a brave ETF member.
It is wrong to say he was uneffected. His way of showing is different, he was shouting on doctors to arrange blood. The wall he made around his heart is still intact. It would take some more time to be broken/
