A guy grown up in Delhi, whose family is from Lucknow, wouldn't read Hindi??

its not a big issue...😊

I know some persons,even they are born and brought up in Andhra and find difficult reading telugu...

I don't mind him speaking in english. That is what most people who have studied ouside India do. I don't understand that much Hindi anyway. He speaks very well indeed. Most of us love the way he speaks englisn.

It's true.

And I'm getting from a lot of the responses that it's very common that someone grown up in India doesn't speak or read Hindi (NOT talking about South or East where Hindi isn't commonly used. I'm talking about Delhi) ...but I find it odd/sad that that's the case. Esp given how naani and maami speak bhojpuri-influenced Hindi.

No wonder Khushi was like-- dil ki baat bhi Hindi mein nahin keh sakte :p
