Hum hai Deewane..
Rishabh gently pushed away that little strand of her hair. He smiled and both shared a beautiful eye lock. Suddenly, he realized what he just did. He looked at her with an apologizing look. But, Madhu smiled again and started feeding him. At this moment he felt good that she dosen't mind him touching her. He admitted that he had developed a soft corner for her. But today he realized that it was soemthing more than a soft corner. Every part of him wanted to feel her again. He felt a sudden attraction towards her.
Madhu sat there feeding him with lots of love. She smiled and felt that Rishabh's doors were starting to open for her. He always had a wall against his emotions. But today he let her see what real Rishabh is. This made her even more happier. The feeling was so different today. After a long silence Madhu spoke up.
Madhu: Rishabh, we've organized a matta ki chowki for you.
Rishabh: Really, who's idea is this? That lady who gave birth to me?
Madhu: Mr. Rishabh Kundra.. don't act too smart. It was my idea. And would you not participate in a pooja that is kept for you?
Rishabh: Biwi.. the point is..
Madhu: What point Rishabh? Why are you so cold hearted towards your own mother? Just because she thought of making a better future for you?
Rishabh: What better future? Tell me.. is Kuku bhatia worth that much?
Madhu: I know she made a mistake while chosing a man. But she thought of your good Rishabh.
Rishabh: That's it.. no more arguements.
Rishabh left without even finishing his breakfast. Walking down those stairs the special moments he shared with his mother flashed his mind. It hurt him but some part of him also appreciated his mother's step. Just while he was walking he bumped into Kuku.
Kuku: Puttar.. be careful what if you got hurt? Your mother would've killed me if that happend.
Rishabh rolled his eyes and walked from there. He hated these fake gestures from his so called Father. He walked inside his TV room and ordered some plain buttered popcorns as he liked them. Surprisingly Madhu came inside walking with the popcorn in her hands. She kept them silently and walked outside.
Rishabh stared at the popcorn with confusion. How was he going to eat them? He thought of calling HER. But he stopped.
Madhu giggled from outside and Rishabh turned to see. He saw Madhu giggling there and he wanted to smile too but he maintained his firm look. Madhu advanced towards him and picked up a handful of popcorn. Rishabh opened his mouth and reality struck him instead of feeding him she put the popcorn in her mouth.
Madhu: The people who don't respect don't get to eat popcorn.
Rishabh: What rubbish is this.. Pass me that bowl.
Madhu: First.. Tell me you will participate in the mata ki chowki
Rishabh: Fine..
Madhu fed him some popcorn and both of them were used to it now. Both enjoyed the movie and laughed hard. They spent a good time together.

Deepali was preparing the aarti thal when Madhu came in and started arranging flowers for the pooja. Rishabh came out dressed in a kurta pajama. He advanced towards Madhu while smiling and Deepali thought it was her who he was smiling at. He passed Deepali and went towards Madhu.
Rishabh: How do I look?
This statement shocked Madhu. He thought of her as a friend now. This made her haapy as well as sad. He didn't feel like she did. But she answered as a true friend.
Madhu: Totally Handsome.
