Angad to be cop

Angad Hasija, who catapulted to fame as the schizophrenic Alekh in Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai, has played diverse roles, including a rustic dacoit in Phulwa and a businessman in Ram Milayi Jodi.

And now, he is preparing for yet another new role. He will play a cop in an upcoming show, tentatively titled Savitri. A source reveals that the shoot for the show has already commenced, but the channel and the production house are tightlipped about it. Says the source, "The cast of the show recently shot at Ganpatipule.

The story, a horror/thriller is said to have glimpses of popular flicks Kahaani and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The protagonist, played by Riddhi Dogra aka Savitri, is in search of her husband Satyavan, played by Yash Pandit. Angad plays Dev, who will help Savitri find her husband. The show, expected to go on air by the end of the year."

I think HJNH is going to move to 8pm. I'm only watching it for RaQesh, otherwise would have given it up in the first week. It hasnt lived up to the expectations yet. What about 10 then. The timing is right for a thriller.
