How can people become fan of someone so easily?

This last 1 year I have noticed something very new and different in bollywood. It's completely surprising me because I can't relate to it. I am talking about the creation of new comers fan groups. It's shocking that in our time when a new movie's promo releases with new comers then after 2 days those new comers gets fans and not just fans but also fan clubs on twitter and facebook 😕 I don't get how anyone can become fan of someone so easily and that too without even watching the persons movie. How can one through one, two or three promos become a big fan of a new comer? During my teenage days things were different, no person became fan of someone so easily. It took people time from liking an actor to actually loving that actor, this progress from liking to loving/becoming fan of an actor needed more than just 1 movie featuring that particular actor and this is why I can't relate to the new fan groups because people so easily become fans of new comers. It would have been something else if this only happened to few actors or if this happened to only those who had talent but this is not the case. Every tom dick and harry has fan groups today.

^I totally agree but I can't get how one can become fan of someone after just one freaking promo or after 2 promos. I myself at least have to get to know that person better, I have to follow that persons interviews and see the kind of movie the person does before calling myself fan of that person. That's why I can't understand how one after one promo declares themself die hard fan.

It comes from charm and screen presence. I liked parineeta from the first song promo of jigar and than I saw pareshaan and I was thinking this girl is going to be a huge star one day

but that according me is not enough. It took me 3 movies to become a fan and I know other fan groups who who also first became of the person they fan of now after some movies of that person released.

I just find it hilarious when I see fan clubs of new comers.

I just had this sudden *ting* when I seen Varun and I was like WOW...he's so hot! I don't know what it was but he literally blew me away when I seen his promos.

I can also mention Sonam Kapoor, yeah she might not be doing well but ever since Saawariya promos came out, I watched her and fell in love...Masha Allah I never knew she was so beautiful!!! Every time the song "Masha Allah" promos kept coming on, I literally mouthed those words out loud every time I seen Sonam, don't do it now since the song doesn't come on much but still I literally love Sonam <3

Its just love at first sight..instant chemistry.
