The point is - Anandi professes to be a thinking woman who is considered fair-minded enough to be elected a sarpanch. This is Anandi's decision. She has to decide what to give more preference to. She gave her word to her mother and she has promised Shiv that she will be his wife. She has been loved and trusted by his family and has their faith in her to look after.

On the other hand - she has no responsibilities to Jagya, they r divorced and his amnesia can be verified/treated by a neuro in Jaipur and not a plain vanilla MBBS in Jaitsar.

If after all this - Anandi choses to sit on the fence and let Dadisa speak for her - then - I have wasted 1 hour for 4 years of my time watching this show and following it on this forum.

My thoughts exactly. I never thought a TV soap can affect me like this. Four years of rooting for a simple soul called Anandi. I was with her thru it all till Gauri left the scene. But the way Jagya is easily manipulating everybody and getting his way, its too much for me to bear. I am left seething after this show gets over.😡 I don't mind anybody changing sided or being selfish, but what I do mind is Anandi continuing to being a doormat when it comes to Singhs.🤢 When Jagya was holding her hand yesterday, I would have liked her to slap him, instead of just watching on stupidly.😡 How dare Nandu talk to my-would-be-husband like this? Is this not what any sati=savitri would think? Given her sanskaar talk and all that? In-laws jaise Singhs hai waise Shekhars bhi to hai. And since the beginning of the show, she has been truly loved and respected by only three people, Bahiron, Sunmitra and now Shiv. If for nothing else, but for this respect that he gives her, should she not be offended and speak up when somebody is disrespecting him??? Abt Dadisa, I have always tried to understand her and empathised with her,if she changes now, I have lost faith in the older generation. They will always be supporting their own laadesars, no matter what. In that case damn you dadisa.😡 So in the end blood is thicker. Shashank had said in an interview that he wanted to play a negative character. There the CVs have taken it to their heart like nothing else. He is doing a fantastic job, but I can kill him with my bare hands.😡 Looks like somebody of us will have to go and speak up for Anandi, if nobody there does.🤢

i think she foresees all this crap and thats why she objected to this marriage and she is right.. why should Shiv... the most eligible bachelor on this earth bear this crap... and that too when Anandi seems to have no objection !

CVs should not forget that normal / ordinary / aam / mango people watch BV and they can get inspired by Anandi's mahanta to some extent but after a limit they stop relating to it ... I really praise CM... thanks for saying what i wanted to scream today :D

They will be told to bow down, shut up, do all the housework, be he first to rise and last to goto bed and get no time to study and still be expected to top the exams. They'll have to take care of not just the needs but also the wishes and whims of not just the guy but his parents and brother/sister niece/nephew and not only those - eventually their extended family like Badi /masi etc.

Why do the CV byline not realize the enormous and unnecessary and painful job it is piling onto the womenfolk in Anandi' type of households ?

They supposedly made her a beti form a bahu but still want the same obedience and "ji huzoor" from her when their situation seems difficult. They show an amazing Bhairon but then tie up his hands and leave him to mouth empty nothings while the will of DS rules !!

jagya is getting his tea in bed, but bcoz he doesn't like the face serving it - he can refuse to drink it ? And Anandi is summoned back to show her face with the cup of tea so he can manhandle her and harass her once again ?
