Yesterday, I felt as if all my brain cells were joined together and blocking each other and I was practically unable to think while watching the episode. When my sense came back to normal first thing I thought what writing material DC would collect for yesterday's edition? But I am very pleased to read your wonderful post and thanks for sharing.
There are few questions floating in my mind for quite sometimes:
1. Start with the Lohit M twitter notes that sporadically jumped out from the ipk set and rolled over to the IPK fans' world and echoed it through the valleys, hills and mountains of waiting fans just before he could type 'Cut It'. These messages were surprisingly impede in fans' minds as factual announcements of the creator either in a shape of an answer to a question or as a prediction of the IPK's future in a riddle format so that the 'unknown' could be analysed immediately in many different ways or if one has patience to wait to unfold few IPK pages and then to analyse it. Interestingly, most of us at least once or twice involved in the analysis process of his note. Probably I have taken the later option.
It's known to all that the IPK is the one serial that has very less promo and occasional precaps to attract viewers. . They have taken the credibility of the lead actors' expertise and all other actors' skills, and the team's joint affords to keep running the show. I am really grateful to LM that may be occasional but to stand as a mediator and to wake fans with update, of course within the IPK's rule of 'short & sweet' format.
My understanding of LM's recent twitter note is that the story of Arshi has already been completed on the day of Arshi's wedding and the situation cannot be changed. However, the truth about the tale of IPK (love & hate) will always remain the same and that will be reflected on the next IPK track with the same passion between two people.
2. Now I choose an appropriate word 'interim' to express current state of IPK and the meaning is 'intended to last or perform an activity only until someone or something permanent or final is available'. I believe now we are at the interim (some may want to call as 'filler) period this will eventually lead us to the new IPK but giving us same warmth and feelings as before.
Do you think they are showing us their interim period track now?
3. If interim, the period may be showing for three different reasons
- To complete the show at the end of the interim period
- During this period, the storyline may shape up in such a way that it may minimise ArShi's relationship and highlight same type of relationship between another couple. Because the title IPKKND does not hold ArShi's name hence may not be too difficult for CV to do the change. Then Barun will find a firm ground to leave the show without getting blame from others.
- Something may be happening in the set and no one is happy about it. May be they are too exhausted working nonstop. I think somehow they have lost their warmth and love for the show as it is reflected lately through their expressions on and off screen. Probably, until this been sorted CV may have planned for the filler to calm the situation down.
Do you think one of these may be the reason of introducing this new track?
4. I think, there may be an underlying reason for not showing Arshi's romantic scene. It may be their contract or intimacy issues that CV and PH are now dealing with it.
Do you think it may the reason they brought some unrelated and unrealistic storylines to test viewers' mind?
5. I honestly think, nowadays there are two writers on the set . One is specifically writes scripts only for Arnav/ASR and other one writes for the rest. Because, I think, ASR/Arnav is now became an isolated member of the Raijaza family. Lately I have notice, he has changed immensely and his behaviour is now very formal towards his family members even to Khushi. Inside their bedroom they do not sit next to each other, do not have any friendly chat like before and he very rarely smiles with her.
Though ASR/Arnav keeps his cool and maintains his look and nature exactly as before, it seems he is now gradually drifting apart from his family even from his wife and landed in a weird state of calmness. He is working at the office and in RM as before but his body language and speaking tone somehow giving an impression of more formal (instead of stiff, swift and smart nature), softer and very very polite note. In him, I could not see any 'he is in love' expression but somewhat a sad look as if he switched off all his previous actions and slowly turned to a different person.
But why CVs want to change him so much?
OR
As he lived through his life as a loner, do they want to show that he is finding too difficult to handle married life, Sanka Devi and love etc?
OR
Does he regret marrying Khushi?
I do like ASR/Arnav/Arnav JI/Chote and I will miss him terribly if he changed or leaves Khushi. The image of ASR/Arnav with his smartness and trademark remarks always spark us all and it will be shame if CV tried to dismantle him in this way.
