Part 1

7pm ; Delhi

A BMW entered the huge gates of Khurana Mansion. As soon as the car halted the driver opened the door and Maan Singh Khurana stepped out of it. He entered the Mansion holding a envelope and with worry lines on his face. He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't realize his Dadi was calling him from so long.

"Ji Dadi'"

"Bete.. Kya hua?? Kaunsi duniya mein khoye huye hai'"

The old lady around 60yrs dressed in a golden-white sari asked worriedly and then with a devil smile spoke.

"Ohho' Humne kya aapko HP bas usse milne bheja aur aapka yeh haal hai' Jab hum aapke saath usska haath maagne jaayenge tab kya hoga.. Hun..??"

Listening to Dadi's words he couldn't stop recollecting the words the Handas spoke about HER in HP. How would he explain it all to Dadi. He himself was confused and looked helplessly at her.

"Ab baatayenge bhi kya baat hui wahan' Hamari honewali bahu dikhti kaisi hai..?? Abhi bhi waisi hi hai kya shararathi ya sharmili'??"

She spoke excitedly moving towards the kitchen when Maan's set of words made her hault.

"Woh wahan nahin thi Dadi'"

She looked at Maan's sad face and asked getting worried.

"Wahan nahin thi matlab'?? Kya Handas ab wahaan nahin rehte..??"

"Aisa nahin hai Dadi.. Handas hai wahin pe' Par Geet'?? Dadi.. Plz.. Aap pehle meri saari baat sun lijiye phir hi kuch kahiyega..."

He could not make up words but he had to tell her.Getting Dadi's assurance he mustered some courage and spoke.

"Woh Dadi.. Handas keh rahe thein kii Geet ne bhaag kar shaadi kar li.."

That was a huge shock to Dadi now. She also knew very well that Geet loved Maan and this was some nonsense story but before she could say anything a third person spoke in between.

"Dekha aap logon ne' Koi meri baat sunta hi kaha hai' Maine pehle hi kaha tha yeh Geet-Veet hum Khurana's ke laayak hi nahi hai' Aur aisi bachallan ladki ko aap iss ghar ki bahu banana chahthi thi Maa...??"

The lady aged around 40yrs dressed in an ethnic sari stepped down the staircase and spoke tauntingly to Dadi. Maan first of all couldn't stand this lady and now talking crap about HIS Geet made him more furious.

"Bas Bahot ho gaya' Aap kya jaanthi hain MERI Geet k bare joh yeh sab bol rahi hain.. Waise bhi aap hoti kaun hai mere zindagi ke faisle lene wali..??"

Dadi didn't like Maan misbehaving with his mother though his step-mother but she had raised Maan the same way as her own son Vicky.

"Maan yeh kya tarika hai apni Maa se baat karne ka'??"

"Maa nahi Dadi' Yeh aurat mere liye sirf Mrs.Khurana hai' Yeh aurat kabhi bhi meri Maa ki jagah nahi le sakhti' Aur joh bhi inn hone aaj Geet ke baare mein kaha uss ke baad toh shaayad hi mein innse koi rishta rakhna chahtha hoon'"

With that he crossed his so called step-mom and moved towards his room.

"Varsha joh bhi Maan ne kaha'."

Varsha didn't allow Dadi to speak and spoke again tauntingly.

"Aap kyon uss ki taraf se safaai de rahi hai Maa' Waise bhi' Inn sab baaton ki mujhe toh jaise ab aadat si ho gayyi hai' Aur rahi baat Maan aur Geet ke rishtey ki toh main bas apni raay de rahi thi... Lekin aaj kal bhallaai ka zamana hi nahi raha'"

Dadi kept looking at her retreating figure and self thought Geet can never do such thing and she doesn't need to prove any1 of her being an ideal Khurana Bahu. Waqt aane par tumhe apne aap yaqin ho jayega Varsha.

10pm ; Maan's Bedroom

Maan in his black vest and tracks sat on his resting chair looking outside his window and lost in his deep thoughts again. How could he rest peacefully when he knew nothing about HIS Geet's whereabouts. Pata nahi kaha hogi?? Kaisi hogi?? His reverie was broken by a phone call. Looking at the caller ID he instantly answered it.

"Hello.. Kya khabar hai..??"

Moving towards his bed he opened the drawer beside it and removed the envelope he had brought earlier that evening and started opening it.

"Haan aaj subah mila mujhe tumhara courier.. "

He stopped opening it and spoke as if warning the guy on call.

"Dekho' Kaise karna hai?? Kahaan dhudna hai?? Yeh mujhe nahi janna samjhe'?? Tum logon ko bina kaam ke paise nahi milnewale'"

He resumed opening of the envelope holding his cell phone to his ears.

"Thik hai' Good Job! SMS me the address'"

Finally he ended the call and opened the envelope and pulled out a sheet from it and was shocked to see none other than his childhood friend Gurvinder Singh's photo and spoke with a smirk.

"Toh MERI Geet ne tumse shaadi ki hai' Main bhi toh jaanu ek shaadi shuda aadmi ne phirse shaadi kaise kar li'"

At the same time he received a SMS and opening he spoke determined.

"Gurvinder.. Geet Ke Maan se milne ke liye taiyaar ho jaao'"

7:00am ; Delhi Working Woman's Hostel; Room No:930

A woman aged around 22yrs dressed in a churidhar came out wiping her wet long black hair. She hung the towel on the hanger behind the door and sat infront of the dressing table humming the tune 'Sajna hai mujhe.. Sajna ke liye..'. She adjusted the sacred black-beaded chain, HER MANGALSUTRA properly around her neck. She then opened the jewellery box and wore two golden kangan (Bangles) in both her hands. She then opened a tiny brass box removed a pinch of vermillion, HER SINDOOR and applied it in the parting of her hair. She removed a RED bindi from the sticker paper and applied it on her forhead.

The woman got up from the dressing table and moved towards the corner of the room where there was a small mandir kind of with a photo-frame of Guru Nanak Ji. She lighted a agarbathi (incense stick) and folded her hands.

"Babaji.. Aaj mujhe ek nayi khubsoorat subah dekhne ko mili usske liye shukriya.. Aaj kaam ka din bhi acche se jaane dena.. Yash Sir ko apne faltu PJs se fursat miley toh thoda serious hone ki akal dena.. Meera ke new designs ki auction party ko successful kar dena.. Aur kya' Haan woh iss bar mujhe promotion de dena plz' Aur mera last wala sabse important wish Babaji.. Plz unka khayal rakhna.. Unnko har buri nazar se dur rakhna.. Jahan bhi hon unhe khush rakhna'"

With that she turned towards the bed adjacent to hers, shaking the sleeping girl she spoke letting out a sigh.

"Isska kuch nahi ho sakta'. Meera utt na' Time dekha hai..?? 7:30 baj rahe hai' Remember aaj tumhare designs ki auction'"

With that Meera got up with a start as if some1 slapped on her face.

"GEET' What The Hell' Tu mujhe ab utta rahi hai'?? God aaj toh main gayyi'!!!"

Geet gave her a look like ulta-chor-kotwal-ko-daatein. Meera looked at her as-if-I-care and spoke.

"Yeh badi badi aankhein tere unnko dikhana Mrs.Geet Shekhawat "

"Meera tujhe kitni baar samjhau main' Mujhe uss naam se chidana band kar..."

"Kyon na bulau Mrs.Shekhawat'"

Geet glared at her.

"Ok' Sorry Baba' Correction Mrs.Geet.RV.Shekhawat.."

With that Meera started laughing maniacally. Here Geet getting hell irritated was going to pounce on her when her cell started ringing.

"Loh aa gaya tera unn ka phone' Humein toh koi yaad hi nahi karta'."

Geet smiled at her usual antics and answered the call.

"Hello RV..!!"

Ok so she isn't married to the Gurvinder guy either but she is married to some RV n she supposedly loved Maan...ohhh this is all so confusing 😕
