Recap; Maan goes out on a date with Geet.
Part 10
Geet was so tired from all the walking she had done with Maan. She hadn't realised that she had been walking for nearly 3 miles! But when the adrenaline rush finished she felt the fatigue. Taking her makeup off she dressed in her forever friends cute pyjama's.
Her sisters Nisha and Sonam came to ask her about their first date.
"So how was it like with bad boy then?" smirked a jealous Nisha.
"It was fine..we just walked and talked".
"How boring!"
"Don't listen to her Geet..tell me did he get you gift?" asked an excited Sonam.
"Ummhh yes" she giggled.
"What tell us then!" asked Nisha losing her patience.
Geet pulled her hand put and showed her ring to them. Sonam touched it and grinned. Meanwhile Nisha just peaked.
"This is beautiful Geet".
"It is isn't it?" Geet said admiring her ring. Nisha left the room feeling envious and Sonam sat with her sister asking her about her soon-to-be brother-in-law.

It was 2am in the morning. Geet was sound asleep. This was the first time she felt she was sleeping peacefully. Her mobile let out a loud beep.
She woke up and saw the number was unknown to her. She picked it up half asleep. As she answered the person started saying something.
"Geet...I love you...I love you...I love you...I love you..I love you".
She giggled as she recognised that it was Maan speaking but his voice was slurring.
"Did you know Geet you are gorgeous...you looked awesome today...and I love you...and this is the best day of my life..really you're a beautiful girl".
"Maan have you been drinking again?" she sounded slightly annoyed.
"Sorry I did..I was so happy that I drank...I'm ringing from my friend's mobile...ring me on my mobile in exactly 20 minutes okay..make sure you do!"
"Okay go home and I will ring you".
He blew some kisses down the phone and put the phone down. She did ring him and they talked for about an hour about their date.

Maan walked into Geet's house looking smart in his half armed crisp white shirt and pinstripe trousers. He looked around and tried to find Geet but she was nowhere to be seen.
Raam came near and touched Maan's shoulder.
"Son are you looking for someone?"
"Uh no! I mean yes!...for you".
"Me?" said an amused Raam. He gestured his son-in-law-to'be to sit down.
"Uncle..well..I don't know where to start...well I spoke to my mum and dad..about your daughter...Geet..that I want to marry her...they said they have spoken to you".
Raam chuckled. "Yes they have".
"So?"
"So my son...at the moment Geet is studying so I can't do much but once she has finished her degree we will think about marriage".
"What about an engagement uncle..we can have that!"
He playfully slapped his face. "You mean you want to mark her? She was always yours but you kept on refusing to marry her..but Maan please keep my daughter happy she has been through enough".
"I know! I will try my best to keep her happy uncle don't worry about it please".
Raam and Maan made small talk about their parent's friendship and their respective businesses. Geet and Sonam were eavesdropping from the kitchen. They giggled like school girls.
"Geet! Sonam! Nisha! Make some tea for Maan".
Sonam looked at her sister. "Go on Geet Di...this is your chance to see him".
Geet blushed and got his tea and snacks ready. As she was about to leave she asked Sonam.
"Do I look fine?"
"You look gorgeous now go!"
As she entered bells started ringing. Maan instantly turned around and saw his girlfriend and soon to be fianc. His childhood sweetheart- Geet Handa. She blushed and came and placed the tea on the table.
"Geet you both speak to each other I'm just going to freshen myself up".
Geet's dad walked out. Maan gave her a smirk.
"What a nice dad! Left me alone with my sweetheart". Geet looked into his intense eyes. He took her hand.
"Maan what are you doing? Someone will see".
"Let them I don't care to be honest". Giving her a small kiss on her hand he looked at her.
"Geet meet me tonight...I want to spend some time with you".
She took her hand away and began panicking.
"Tonight? How? You know I will get in trouble".
"Come on Geet! It will be fun!"
"But how will I come out at night? I never been out so late".
"Point taken! Ummmhh I will wait for you at 8pm at the back of your house...I will pick you up and we will go for a drive".
"I'm not sure about this Maan...I mean if dad finds out".
"He won't...just ask your brothers and sisters to cover you..I'm sure they can do this much for you, can't they?"
Raam returned. "So Maan...why haven't you had your tea..it's getting cold beta..Geet you could have reminded him!"
Maan looked at Geet who was mentally having a conversation with her Babaji.
*Hey Babaji what am I gonna do? This Maan is making me do things which I would have not even done in my dreams*
Maan asked his leave and made a gesture to Geet telling her to call him.
