They shouldn't Radhika...I guess that would depend on TRPs etc of the show at that point in time...but if there are no strong tracks in the meantime, TRPs are bound to suffer...so what will you salvage eventually?

Murky scenario all in all!

Sujathaji,i just wanna to say few words-the biggest difference with Bollywood here is the stability of a show-it much depends on TRP.Look at the shows running for years after years now-YRKKH,BV,Uttaran,Pavitra Rishta. So the tracks keep changing or new new tracks has to be brought and in that case, there are chances Actors might not relate with it!As example,in PR-Sushant quilted the show already and though Ankita is continuing, she is feeling uncomfortable...

I agree, Swastik..in long running shows, leaps are bound to happen...and not all actors may be comfortable with it...and I think Sushant got a break in Bollywood...maybe Ankita feels that her chances are better in TV...

But one thing on TV is the character has always been above the actor...which is why most shows have survived actor replacement...i mean, take the example of Kyunki Saas...when Mihir was shown as dead, the nation went up in arms against it,...but when Amar Upadhyay quit, nobody really bothered!

Bechara SK, he joined when DK part had ended. After the marriage track & fast forwarded career growth of Nidhi the pregnancy track would have been a solid logical track for KTLK.But alas! This show never did justice to Medical profession, so what more can they show in KGH? Even if Ashni adopts Khushi, where will it lead to ultimately ?Anyways lets see what happens in the future.

well I guess times are changing .. in bollywood ,they make contracts which stipulate that the actors gotta give so and so number of dates for marketing and promotion and so on..
telly industry is growing and its just a matter of time before they go the professional way as well !

True Shubhangi...reason why I have my resrvations about the hospital track...they do not seem to have the wherewithal to do a good job of it...

And yes, Sharad came in at such a time tough time...and still has given the show his all...even post his surgery...!

True Deepa...I think with that level of professionalism coming in, both actors and the production houses will be protected...think the day is not too far off!
