It was really quite distasteful for the interviewers' to ask about Gurmeet-Debina's relationship and also Isha, but I'm glad Gurmeet handled it well. It prooves that he's a professional.

I agree with the member who said that Gurmeet is famous because of all his shows. It's true, because he reached out to a different audience with each one. Though all his shows have been a huge hit in their own way, whether it be through TRPs or international acclaim and awards, Gurmeet has become known to everyone either as Ramji, Maan, or Yash, so it really makes me very proud to be his fan whenever he gives importance to all his shows. He truly respects them for the fame they gave him.👏

I also really enjoyed his reference to Ramayan and the happiness it gave his father to see his son play the Godly role of Bhagwaan Ram. His parents must be so proud of him for having gotten the chance to work with Sagar Arts.

@red - it's amazing really... he's probably the only actor on television who's every show has been so successful... and each show has tapped a different section of the audience...
the television industry and his colleagues still refer to him as Ramji... especially during jhalak... he got a huge online fan following thanks to GHSP... and now with Punar Vivaah, he got fans from the regular TRP audience as well... and then he did jhalak which made him recognizable to a completely different section of the audience.. he has been very smart in his career choices till now... the man is not just talented, hard working and humble... but also very very intelligent...

Juzz watched ABP exclusive interview with Gurmeet !!! I must say those reporters were just ridiculous !!! But I loved the way Gurmeet had given smart answers to them 👏 👏 Slap on their faces !!! How unfair is to make an actor goaded with certain questions but you know thats all how media is about

Anyways I'm very happy that Gurmeet was cool all the way and handled the interview so maturely !!! I haven't watched Gurmeet's previous exclusive interviews if they were any but as a person I knew him he was a bit away from his shy nature in this interview especially and was quite smart to handle them !!! 👏

Loved his answers and my goodness its a visual treat to watch Gurmeet and Kratika together !!! I always wish to watch an exclusive joint interview between the both but I only got a glimpse of their joint session today 😳 😳 Gurmeet teasing Kratika as JKR was lovely...😆 Hope one day we get to see them together exclusively in one of the interviews which lasts for atleast an hour 😃

And I'm glad Gurmeet mentioned PV ka TRP's and said its ZEE top most show !!! By the way whole interview was at its best by Gurmeet with his frank answers 👏 👏 Can't wait for Kratika's interview now...she gonna kick and I knew it !!! 😆

The interviewers were quite catty at times, but he never lost his composure. I don't think he avoided any answer. Interviewers tried to discredit PV's success too, but he let them know politely, but firmly that its doing very well. And he was equally proud of Geet too. He said that the craze for Geet, even when it was about to end, was something he would remember forever. And yet people say he doesn't acknowledge Geet!

He handled Jhalak's question equally well, though the anchor's comment regarding Isha's injury was shockingly distasteful.

I am so proud of Gurmeet for the way he handled himself throughout the interview. And though the interviewers indirectly tried to hint otherwise, the fact is Gurmeet's popularity is not limited to one character. Or they wouldn't have been interviewing him today, 10 months after Geet ended. Even I was apprehensive whether or not, Gurmeet would be able to come out of the shadow of the MSK. But with God's grace his popularity and recognition has only increased with time.

PS- Loved the trick that he did with his eyes and ears.

I so agree with you! Bollywood is actually not all that it's made out to be. I personally think acting in TV show requires much more hard work and talent, because you are not connected to big shots in order to become famous. To gain popularity you actually have to work hard. TV actors have to start from scratch whereas Bolly actors are often popular because they're connected to a Kapoor or Bachhan. Many of them don't have any talent at all.

Plus, TV shows have a lot more emotional appeal and some teach us things that movies don't. Movies are all about bigshot heroes, fights, and romance whereas as TV shows can have a good social message at times.
