Hey guys,
I know I'm kinda late 😳, but I was just wondering whether many of you thought that the scene of Kaali Mata had turned out to be just as you expected it too, or if you had higher expectations regarding special effects?
Personally I was really rooting for it to be one of a kind due to the hyping of the advert, but later I found that I wasn't too impressed with it, so I was just wondering if I was the only one to be thinking this.
Tink 😊

well i was a little disappointed...
Kali Mata's tarck shld have been a little longer...
the scene where she steps on Mahadev's chest shld have been a little more dramatic..
also, they ended it up too quickly...
after killing raktbeej, kali maa get the "taste of blood"
as in she gets really hyper and starts killing every asur which comes in her sight. her rage was really furious and this killing was becoming her habit.
parvati used to sneak out of the house late at night, takes kali's avtar and start the killing.
to stop this, 1 day mahadev lies down on the path of kali and she unknowingly steps on Him. thats the true story track.
i was disappointed with how they quickly ended the track.

I thought the act should have been more fierce personally, and I didn't know that she used to do that, although it makes far better sense as to why Shiv would have taken her by surprise in order to create get such a reaction from her. Thanks for letting me know of this info.
In 1996 I saw one of the best Kali Mata scenes ever, it was from a telugu movie called Ammoru, and Kali Mata was played by Ramya Krishnan, (the lady in Chaahat - I think) and she did one kickass act in that movie, and in one word unbelievable! So I had this crazy thought that perhaps with the advanced technology and cinematography they have access to nowadays they would have made it just as enthralling, but I guess not.
Here it is, just so you get an idea. It's not based on Shiva's story or anything, but just uses the depiction very loosely on the same sort of concept.
The most awesome scene I have ever seen in a religious movie by far.

HeyTink, may be they themself got scared while shooting her ferrocious form. After showing the promo for a long time when there was the time for the epi. they concentrated on Paravti's guilt more then her powerful form. It was quite disappointing.
@aashka, can you give the source of this version of Parvati's story?
