What's HOT in INDIA is NOT HOT OVERSEAS?!

😕😆 So, we love Bollywood films for what they are. However, what's hot in INDIA is not necessarily HOT OVERSEAS! And for good reason. Not everything Bollywood does is the subject of adulation! Like for example, Sunny Leone makes one film and everyone goes balistic to see it! If she went to Hollywood, would anyone care? There are a million freaking po*n stars. So, TELL ME IF!!! 😉 What's HOT in INDIA is NOT HOT OVERSEAS?! Please share your thoughts. 👏

But recently there is an huge increase overseas in Salman's fan following post Dabangg...But SRK and Ranbir rule the BO overseas..

He's super "hot" in overseas compared to other actors, and definitely hotter in overseas than in India.

Katrina's very average in the US and her charm escapes most of us. Nice enough looking girl but---meh.

Salman has limited---extremely limited---appeal here too.

Aishwarya, while eye searingly beautiful, was a little too prim and uptight to appeal to Americans as well. She seemed very uncomfortable in the skin of a human being and more as if she was trying to impress people.

We couldn't find the nice, warm, human woman underneath with whom we could kick off our shoes and have a good giggle.

She was just too brittle and "perfect" and as such, not someone any of us could identify with.

The whole high-maintenance, diva, "gotta catch a man" look also tends to be lost on us outside the realm of mens' magazines.

Women here just don't LIKE women who present themselves as man chasing "mean girls" who'd knife you in the back in the mad rush to snag a "prestigious" man so that cuts your potential audience in half.

Salman may be hot for India but is cold for the USA. nobody really cares for him or his movies that is why he makes movies specifically for the masses in India.

In the USA we like movies with SRK or any movies that show more of India with beautiful love stories.

A movie like Veer Zaara or any Karan Johar movie(dunno about the new movie though) may not be a hit in India but it is movies like that we crave.

Me I personally like movies like Cheeni Chum or the new Srivdevi movie. I cannot stand movies that do not make sense and just has fighting and comedies.
