KTLKs mini-tracks/ situational approach

First, thanks to Tupu who after reading my review in Tanu's thread felt I should open a new post about my perspective for this track(s).

DOn't know if one should read too much into these things, but these are some of the convos/ scenes yesterday that perked my interest...

1. Ashni are now completely at ease with each other in the hospital, sharing work, sharing lunch and sharing thoughts. There is no more aloofness from Ashu's side and ever since the CM track concluded he has dropped the 'Dr.' when addressing Nidhi in the hospital. He has completely embraced their relationship even in public. He is now a willing mentor and guide and openly appreciative and encouraging of Nidhi's efforts. This professional closeness should also help in their personal relationship as the mutual trust they have gained in each other at work is definitely bound to affect their thought process when dealing with issues on the home front.

2. Ashu did not loose his temper with Nidhi even when he realized that she failed to pick up the all important emergency call from Khushi. Maybe because he knew Nidhi had done her best to be cautious and had taken precautions to the best of her ability. An electrical short-circuit because of iron is not something which one usually anticipates. He also knew that Nidhi had been in a meeting and so had her phone on silent. Again, communication was key. The fact that Ashni discussed this a few times in the hospital prevented any major MU.

3. Ashu's willingness in trying to help Nidhi by suggesting that he would handle Khushi the next day while Nidhi could go to work. Again they are both working on a compromise, intuitively adapting and taking baby steps into the world of childcare without even realizing they are doing so. This is Ashu's way of acknowledging that child care is not just a woman's job only. So, whenever they have a child, looking back this situation should reassure Nidhi about Ashu's attitude of being hands on in looking after the child and his willingness to give equal importance to her career.

4. Ashu's interations with Khushi were lovely. Loved how he wiggled out the fact that she had used the iron but was genuinely clueless as to how the short-circuit happened because of that. Once he understood it was not a prank, he puts the little girl at ease. Khushi for all her smartness is honest and innocent about a lot of things. She is also straight forward.

5. Similarly Nidhi's reactions were also genuine when she was honestly sorry for not taking Khushi's call. She felt really guilty and she had no qualms about apologizing either. Even Khushi acknowledged her mistake and Nidhi seemed to have formed a bond.

6. Regarding Khushi, there were more hints yesterday. First, how did she know all the emergency numbers and also had the presence of mind to use them. Maybe she has done this in the past?? Maybe her mind is blocking out some painful event and she remembers only bits and pieces? Wonder if she was caught in the middle when her parents fought or maybe she is the product of a broken family with an abusive parent and she had to call the emergency services to protect her mother and her? OR

7. In the last scene Khushi drew a sketch of her house, mother and herself...so where was her father in this picture? What happened to her mother? Has her father abandoned Khushi and her mother and did she run away from home to search for him? Did she witness something bad happening to her mother? Were they involved in an accident and she survived but has partial amnesia? Maybe her real mother was dead now and she was running away from a step parent...

Well the scenarios concerning Khushi could be anything but the common underlying fact is that Khushi seems to be on the run/ temporarily orphaned and the situation or people she is running from is not pleasant. Her conscious mind seems to have blocked out the truth or she is suffering from some temporary loss of memory.

Precap:

1. After seeing the sketch and Khushi yearning for her mom, maybe Nidhi's latent yearning for her mom will surface. Maybe this yearning will make her want to have her own child?

2. Khushi's statement to Ashu that she was scered to grow up while Ashu was scared to act like a kid may act as a catalyst for Ashu to open up. He may finally acknowledge that he has to face his childhood and come to terms with it for him to embrace the happiness of the present and future. Lets see if he will open up to Nidhi, so she can understand him better.

Like I mentioned maybe I am reading too much into these scenes or maybe this is what the CVs intended to show but were not able to bring out the message clearly. Lets see where it goes.

Personally I do not mind these mini tracks/ situations where Ashni face problems together and end up learning something from them and something about themselves as a couple and will lead to a strengthening of their bond. These situations may result in Ashni talking about things they otherwise would never discuss. For eg, the CM track cleared all doubts in Ashu's mind about Nidhi's career and now he is doing all he can to help her professionally.

I really like all your analysis and future track progression predictions.

Because most of us on the forum, have become bored with this track already.

Everytime a new track starts in KTLk, the CV focus is solely on the new character/s

And we get less AshNi moments.
