Yes, unless there is some depth to Kushi's story and they reveal the reason, it will be boring to watch this.

The episodes might seem boring sometimes but this track is very important for the story to move forward as KP ji has said that Khushi will help Nidhi understand Ashu's past which is very important for their relation as it will help Nidhi understand Ashu's insecurities and strengthen their bond.
