It's so funny you mentioned horses, we went to a fare only last week and my children had a great time. There were two lovely white ponies which my kids got a chance to ride on. It made them happy to stroke the horses and get a chance see & ride them. If you are UK do try and go to a fare, there are loads of other things like archery good food, and (even though there was no TV), we had a fantastic day - I hope your weekend is too.
