After working non-stop for three years actress Mona Singh is finally making the most of her well-deserved break. "My schedule isn't as hectic as it used to be a couple of months ago," says Mona Singh. She says that she is looking forward to the new innings in her life. "I'm having a blast shopping, lunching and dinning with my family and friends." In the last few months Mona has become a complete shopaholic. Apparently there is no space left in her huge flat for all the clothes and crockery that she has bought. "I don't know what to do with all my old things," she says.

Incidentally, the buzz is that her mother is looking for a groom for her celebrity daughter. "My mother is a sweetheart," she smiles. "She's a typical mother, who is forever worried about her daughter's future. Since the time I've taken this break, my mother has been after my life to get married."

However, it looks like her daughter is in no mood to settle down in the near future. "My mother keeps talking to pandits and astrologers, trying to find out about my marriage. She keeps telling me that this is the right age for me to get married, but I've put my foot down."

Mona has made it clear to her mother that she will tie the knot only next year. So, who's the lucky man? "Oh, that's just my way of avoiding discussing the issue," she says. "Every year I tell her that I'll get married next year." (Isnt mona 28...)

As for her ideal man, Mona says: "Firstly, he has to love me like crazy(LOL,I'm no mandamonger,but this surely does ring many a bells....LOL,looks like she wants to become the next SandA,along with her hubby😆). Love is the foundation of every relationship. He must have a great sense of humour too. He needn't be the typical tall, dark, handsome kind."(another contradiction.😆.didnt she say that she wanted a dark man on Kandy floss)

Right now the man in her life who demands her attention all the time is her three-year-old nephew Angad. "Angad is my sister's son. I'm going to play mommy to Angad for a year as his parents are in New Zealand." The actress says that she takes him out to malls. "People have started asking me if he is my son. And I tell them, he is as good as my own son," says the doting aunt.

So....if he needn't be "tall, dark, handsome" (i knew all along that she just said it to throw Archie😡 off track!😉), need he be "Not-so-tall (5" 8?), fair (gora-chitta😕) and beautiful"???

Ummm.....what's wrong with MM really? He is quite a sweet guy and is competely smitten by her. Although i'm still a mandamonger deep down😳, if Mona gets over that and eventually develops feelings for MM, i will wish them both the very best.😛
