Gurmeet Chaudhary's car music system stolen

Television actor Gurmeet Chaudhary lodged a complaint with the Goregaon police after a music system was stolen from his car late on Monday. Chaudhary recently won the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He told the police that his Toyota Etios was parked outside his housing society when the incident took place.

Chaudhary resides at Shastri Nagar in Goregaon West with his wife, Debina, also a television actor. Around 11 pm on Monday, a music system worth Rs 19000 was stolen from Chaudhary's Etios which had been parked on the street. The society watchman told the cops that he hadn't heard anything suspicious as he was inside the society compound and had fallen asleep. No burglar alarm went off. Chaudhary discovered the theft on Tuesday morning when he saw that the windowpane next to the driver's seat had been smashed.

"Chaudhary approached us with a complaint on Tuesday evening. A case has been lodged under section 379 of IPC against unknown persons," said senior inspector Arun Jadhav, Goregaon police station. No arrests have been made so far.
