Khushi yawned and brushed her hair aside...
She was feeling fresh today...
She remembered how arnav took her up to her room...but she pushed aside this thought and stood up from bed.
Why I am thinking about him so much when he doesn't even care about me and after all i have taken a step forward...!, khushi thought...
Today she have to go to doctor for her check-up...and she have decided that she will go with aditi...
Aditi was to pick khushi from shaantivan and they both have to go to hospital...
Khushi gave herself a look in the mirror...
What a change!, she thought, I have recovered...
and that means no more living in shaantivan...!
She changed her night suit and applied a layer of strawberry lip-gloss...
Khushi hate doing all these things but what else she could do?
She is starting her new life...without Arnav...!
and she knew that she have to get used to all these...after all she have a whole business waiting for her...
its been days since she went office...
hope naina (her office manager) is handling everything perfectly, she thought.

Anjali was in her room, thinking about the conversation she had with khushi after leaving arnav's room...
Last night after talking with arnav, anjali paid a flying visit to khushi's room to know that how is she doing?
She found khushi laying awake in her bed...

"khushi ji, may i come in?" anjali asked.
"yeah di..."
"Khushi ji, i want a suggestion!"
"di, what kind of suggestion?"
"khushi ji, i know you had confessed to chote that you love him!"
before anjali could finish her sentence, khushi started,

I know that someone else is waiting for him and he wouldn't be mine because he is lavanya's...and i never wanted to break their relationship! and more over i have already taken a step forward...! Arnav himself told me the reality that we can't be together! It's impossible...and he is hundred percent true...!"
"khushi ji, are you fine?", anjali asked after khushi ended her mini debate without stopping for a breath...
khushi nodded, "yeah di...I have taken a step forward in my life...No more Love for Arnav!", khushi said, however, she knew that it was a big lie...!
how could she forget arnav so easily...

"khushi ji, i was just thinking about chote and lavanya ji's engagement!", anjali announced, she wanted to know that how will khushi react. But that's what anjali is thinking about from days because as for her its the only solution for both arnav and khushi to take a step forward...
First, khushi couldn't believe her ears...
Arnav getting engaged is the horrible thing she ever had heard.!

"khushi ji, i know that it would be difficult for you to..." anjali began saying.
"No di!", khushi cut anjali's sentence , "it wouldn't be difficult for me..I told you na, that i have taken a step forward and i'm so happy for lavanaya that she is getting her love...she is very lucky!"
Anjali cupped khushi, " I knew that! i knew that you will be all fine with all that! and you are lucky too, khushi ji and very soon, the prince of your dreams will come and take you away with him!", anjali said with a smile.

This isn't a fantasy di, she wanted to say...
but she have no other option instead of giving a big fake smile...
Anjali didn't told khushi about her and arnav's conversation...
She thought that if she would tell her that her chote is in love with, whom she thought is lavanya, then khushi would be hurt...
Anjali gave khushi a huge hug and was about to leave when khushi said, "di, you know i always wanted that arnav and lavanya would both get together soon and be happy in their lives...and now i think this is going to happen soon!"
"yeah, very soon!", anjali announced without knowing that how much that "VERY" word will hurt khushi...

And who knows that how much khushi had cried after that...!
And that's when she decided to give her life a new start...!

Everyone was at dining table, having their breakfast...
Arnav was also there...
He didn't noticed that he was continuously smiling...
Today I'm going to tell khushi that I, too, love her...
his eyes were finding khushi...but she was nowhere to be seen...
"ASR?", lavanya's voice entered arnav's ears, "Could you please drop me at my friend's home?"
"I'm not free today, lavanya...i have a very important thing to do..you could go with driver.."
lavanya was hurt...
He didn't gave me his single second...then she looked at NK, who smiled at her...
and he, she thought, have nothing else to do except giving me all his time...
After some minutes, when it became difficult for arnav to resist a single second without khushi, he asked, "nani, where is khushi?"
"Khushi bitya went to hospital for her check-up with her friend!", nani told...
"What? Why didn't anyone told me that she have a check-up today? I would have taken her...!",
As arnav said that, lavanya looked at him...
He wouldn't have any time to drop me to my friend's home but he have time to take khushi to take to hospital...!, she thought...
He don't loves me, she thought...and stopped the tears that were about to come in her eyes...

Anjali knocked arnav's room's door.
Arnav was just waiting for khushi so that he could tell her about he feels about her!
"come in!", he said.
Anjali walked in...
"di, you? u should have called me if you wanted anything!"
"no, chote, i just wanted to talk!"
"yeah di?"
"Chote, i know you are in Love!"
Arnav smiled...
Anjali got a bit more excited!...
"So..don't you think that you should get engaged!"
"di, but i didn't tell her yet!"
"What's the need of telling her, chote? after all she loves you and you, yourself brought her here!"
"di, i know she loves me but still..."
"Chote, I'm so happy for you...I can't believe that my chote is in Love..in LOVE!!", anjali exclaimed.
"yeah, di, i can't believe it too...i don't know when this happened!"
"Chote, so after confessing, are you ready for engagement?"
Arnav still can't believe that he is in love and his di is asking him to get engaged!
He nodded...
"Chote, but why didn't you give her some time when you love her?"
Arnav stopped...

He didn't undestand that point of anjali...
"what di?"
"yeah, chote, today at the breakfast table, you refused to drop her at her friend's home!"
Arnav didn't knew what anjali was saying...

But khushi was at the hospital...
"Di, whom are you talking about?"
"obviously, chote, i'm talking about lavanya ji!"
What?, he thought, di was talking about lavanya!
And she thinks that i love her when all the time i was referring to khushi!
"Di, you are getting me wrong!"
"Not a word chote...! and i don't think that there is any need of confessing your love to lavanya ji!"
"But di, i do not..."
before arnav could complete his sentence anjali put in, "I'm going to do all the arrangements...and you wouldn't say a word chote...!"
How could i tell that the one i love is khushi not lavanya, arnav thought...
Di isn't even ready to listen anything!
And i even agreed to do the bloody engagement!!
Anjali cupped his face, "chote, i know what are you thinking! You are just feeling sorry for khushi ji, na?? but you need not to worry as i had talked to her and she even said that she had taken a step forward in her life and the only thing she wants is that you and lavanya ji should get engaged!
"khushi said that?"
"yeah, chote...! she said that she had forgotten that horrible night! so you also need not to worry about that...she said that she had feelings for you once but now everything is different! she feels nothing about you now...she said that you both are totally opposite from each other so how could you both be together? and i think she had a point!"
Arnav was shattered...
For the first time he had feelings for anyone and now khushi said that she didn't need him...
she didn't have any feelings for him...
Khushi , too, wants me and lavanya to get engaged!
How could she?
didn't she loves me anymore?
But without thinking anything arnav said, "Go on, di!"

NK and lavanya was in the car...They reached home, NK was about to open the door of driver's seat when he felt a hand on his arm, he turned and saw that lavanya was holding his arm...and she moved her face close to NK's...both of their faces were inches away from each other...NK was shocked!
