Yes could be, but made to look like suicide...and there was a gunshot during her daughters wedding just as the mother was running off when Arnav shouted maa...hmm hope there is a mystery track about the past along with Khushis parents past...I think I read somewhere on IF that if Garima knew Malik, chances are Khushis parents may have known him too...
