He should be definitely forgiven when 'he' becomes worthy of it. And right now there are no symptoms if it... Even earlier scene when 'he' hears 'sarpunch' word there was switch in expressions from being sorry abt what 'he' had done to the farmer to vengeful face. So, 'he' really needs to work far too hard on being a better person. Hopefully one day! Oh, and for sure forgiveness from anandi doesn't mean acceptance. The word acceptance is not applicable any more between them. Even if shiv wasn't there in anandi's life still there was no path of return for jagya.
You are right dear, forgiving a person who truly is repenting is something everyone should do, though it is very hard...But the person asking for forgivness should be worth it...The way Jagya demanded for forgiveness as if he had a right because he was Anandi's ex was totally wrong...He should have realized that he has no right on her...He should have moved on, and tried his level best to win that trust back, instead of saying what he did to dadisa when Anandi said that she can't forgive him...You are right...Forgiveness doesn't mean that Anandi will go back to Jagya...It is just a phase, where she can let go of her past and move on, without any guilt or regret...So, yes, if Jagya is truly sorry, she can just let go thinking about her future...! It will not haunt her once she is free of that guilt...!

your post reminds me of this quote -
"Forgiveness has nothing to do with absolving a criminal of his crime. It has everything to do with relieving oneself of the burden of being a victim--letting go of the pain and transforming oneself from victim to survivor."
? C.R. Strahani truely have begun to believe that Anandi should forgive Jagat and move on. once she forgives she can forget him and stop having flashbacks of him. Anandi is meant for Shivđł, as he is the light at the end of the tunnel. jagat was the darkness she carried with herself for so long. unless she lets go, unless she forgives herself(for not forgiving jagat), unless she forgives the situation(jagat being without his family), unless she realizes that that situation is over(jagat is not jagia and never will be), she cannot move forward to shiv.people in this forum may disagree with me but truthfully i no longer want to see jagat on my tv screen,i dont care if he is repenting or not. AnSh is truely poetry in motion and i have eyes only for them.
