Hi guys,
I just watched last night's episode (Tuesday 25th September) online, and I felt compelled to jump onto IF straight away to write this post.
I am so PROUD of Meena for telling the TRUTH when it really mattered the most! 👏 ⭐️
Meena's tale started out as it usually does, with her making excuses so that she could get away and eat in secret. When Bhabo asked Vikram to go and find Sandhya, and then Meena stepped in to say she would go instead of him, I laughed so hard at Bhabo's response! I was thinking, here we go, typical Meena, off to find food again! Fair enough, she does need to eat - but the comical way she goes about it is really amusing. 😊
And again when she spotted Sandhya with the police officers and decided to tell on her to Bhabo - this was all in character and nothing out of the ordinary! The way she reacted when she saw Chaturi was slightly unexpected but really touching - I'm glad that she was happy that Chaturi was alive rather than worried that Chaturi would tell everyone that it was Meena's fault she fell down the temple stairs, etc etc. Good going, Meena!
It was so touching that Meena placed her hand on her tummy and thought about her baby when Sandhya was talking about the terrorists trying to take lives and how so many people could be saved if Chaturi could remember anything. This was fantastic because it showed us such growth in Meena's character. This is the same lady who was planning to have an abortion when she first found out she was pregnant, but then didn't do it only so that her pregnancy would stop Bhabo from throwing her out of the house (after they found out she was the one who had had Bhabo falsely arrested), and then used her pregnancy as a way to worm her way back into her husband's and family's good books, and to get out of housework, etc etc. To see her today actually thinking lovingly of her baby was fantastic! Great touch, CVs!
When she heard that the terrorists name was Anuraag Joshi, I was so glad to see that she put two and two together and realised that it was Rajkumar himself. And I am so PROUD of her for thinking of others and speaking up with the TRUTH when it really mattered the most. Meena is usually so envious of Sandhya and wouldn't do anything to help her unless she was absolutely made to, so it was fantastic to see her put aside such petty differences, and her concerns about herself getting in trouble, to speak up without being selfish and reveal the whole truth of what she knew about RK and how to both the police and to the family. It was good to see her try to tell the truth about Chaturi not being in her village a few weeks ago (when she thought Chaturi was dead because of her), just before Sooraj received the phone call on his mobile phone from Chaturi who was held at gunpoint by RK, but she was slow then and so didn't end up saying anything. I'm glad she showed absolutely no hesitation this time! Meena's actions have no doubt helped to avert a terrible tragedy, and for that I am very proud of her. She may still be somewhat selfish, materialistic and mean, but this selfless and noble action of Meena's has given me a lot of respect for her. Evil deeds like RK's can make you question humanity itself, while selfless actions like this one of Meena's can actually restore our faith in it. Thank you to the CVs for doing this, and for showing us that deep inside, Meena is still actually a good person.
I am glad that the revelation of RK being the terrorist didn't drag for a long time. I think the speed with which this took place was very good, given the gravity and enormity of the situation. My word, RK is pretty clever - coming up with a way to make it look like he injured his leg right there and then saving a police officer from a falling sign! If only he had chosen to use his powers for good rather than evil! It was really nice and refreshing to see the police doing their job better than in the past few weeks and not being shown as asleep on the job today, although I found it strange that the officer who was checking Chotu at the entry didn't check him with the detector again after removing his toy car from his pocket! Oh, if only he had done that!!! And if only the police officer who had RK at gunpoint later on had just shot him in the leg instead of putting the gun to his head! Oh well, that created more drama! I'm glad that Sooraj stepped up and caught RK - which the police weren't able to do, despite there being so many of them and only one Sooraj! I'm glad Sooraj beat up RK and gave him a piece of his mind when he expressed disgust at his actions. RK saying that he would be happy to sacrifice his family in the name of his cause (whatever that actually is!) was really chilling, and Sooraj's response to that - someone like you could never actually be "related" to anyone - was very apt. 👏 I am glad that Sooraj and Meena got into the act along with Sandhya, and showed us in their own ways how we can be responsible citizens.
Everyone did a great job in the past two episodes, but I feel that Sandhya, Sooraj, Meena, Chaturi, and RK were particularly well acted. Thank you to all the actors, and Deepika, Anas, Kanica, Rashmi, and Gaurav in particular. Everyone did a great job, but for me the stand-out was Meena, so Kanica please take a bow!
I hope very much that Sooraj isn't going to be seriously injured (not injured at all would be the best outcome!), and I hope that Sandhya will remember about Chotu's coat being so think/heavy and about the alarm on his watch, and that they were both given to him by RK and how much RK didn't want Chotu to remove either of them. I hope that everyone will be safe in the end (except RK and the other terrorists!) and I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this will pan out!
