Part 6

3 months later

Khushi had holidays for a week and buaji decided to go to delhi for two days to visit one of her relatives. Shashi had asked her to take payal and khushi along since khushi needed a break from studies.

Buaji, phupaji, khushi, payal and even preeto went to delhi. They stayed in their relative's house and not in arnav's due to phupaji's work.

They were supposed to go out in the evening when phupaji came and informed them that he had some urgent work so he had to take buaji and go somewhere...he asked the three of them to go to his brother's house since anjali was calling them.

Khushi was more than happy and she got ready and off they went.

They reached raizada mansion and were given a warm welcome by anjali and her mother...akash was there too...Arnav's dad was in office...

They were chatting as usual when khushi realised that it was half an hour since they had come and she had not spotted arnav...she wanted to go to the restroom so anjali took her up...

And there she spotted him watching tv..

Stupid idiot i have come all the way from lucknow and he doesn't even care to notice...khushi you like the wrong guy...he is not even going to give you a second look! He already must be having a girlfriend...

Anjali showed her the way...and khushi walked past ignoring arnav.

What the hell is she doing here? When did she come? and why did she walk off? Am i dreaming?

He was taken aback at her sudden entry!

After some time khushi came out and she found anjali still waiting for her...she walked out of the room

Arnav was sitting there

K: hi

A: hi

K: how are your studies going on...

A: good

K: great

Ok i'll go down

A: ok

What? He is really not bothered khushi just forget it!

K: bye

A: hey khushi can you tell me your syllabus

K: why arnav your board is different and so is mine

Anjali: ok you both talk i am going down

Khushi pulled a chair opposite arnav and started blabbering as usual arnav had an amused expression on his face...

She continued talking when arnav suddenly asked her

Khushi who is your favourite actor?

K: hmmm i don't know ( its not SK in this FF)

A: how can you not know

K: i don't have any favourites

A: i don't believe you

K: arnav if you become an actor na you will be my favourite actor...is that ok

A: whatever!

By the way i did get a few modelling offers

K: don't even think of it arnav

A: excuse me!

K: i mean it's ...like...hmm

A: i know!

They did not realise that one hour was up and they were still talking it was almost 9:00pm when askash came and offered khushi some samosa..

Ak: khushi this is for you since you don't seem to come down mamma told me to get it up...

Khushi blushed no thanx akash

A: just shut up and take it khushi

K: please arnav i don't like it...i can't eat it

A: you have to

K: no

A: yes just shut up and eat now!

K: arey but!

A: you can't expect me to go and get jalebi for you at this time! So just eat this

K: how do you know...

A: just eat!

K: lets share arnav please i don't like it

A: your eating it!

Khushi forcefully took some bites and left it...

She suddenly looked lost

A: what happened

K: do you still have the friendship band i gave you or you threw it away?

Arnav looked offended...of course i do

She gave him a bright smile...thank you that is so sweet of you...

Rabba vey...

a: khushi i'm sorry

k: why?

a: er actually i lost the band...but then i found it again

k: thats ok arnav

a: but i don't know where it is

khushi felt bad but she just smiled at him

its ok din expect you to keep it life long!

Payal and preeto were getting restless down and everytime she tried to call khushi Akash would just say that they are still talking...

Anj: arey payal let it be na let them talk

P: no it's late we have to go

Arnav's mom: let it be na they are busy talking...

P: oh no they must be arguing over something as usual...last time we came here they were fighting over which board was more tough and which one was easier...and this khushi toh will never shut her mouth...i should go and see before they kill each other

Anj: payal it's ok she will come you relax

By now khushi had told arnav more than half of her life history , who her friends are, how they had fun together, who they had crushes on(of course she din't tell about herself) and literally everything and arnav had just told her few things and answered her questions ...he was enjoying himself and khushi was lost...

A: khushi i think you should go i want to study

K: oh ok bye

Just then payal came up she had enough of this, preeto followed her...

P: khushi what the hell it's 10:00 pm how will we go back...thats enough now

A: khushi is not going anywhere, you want to go then you go she will stay here only!

Khushi looked up at arnav and they had an eyelock

Rabba vey...

Those words somehow made butterflies flutter in her stomach...she just smiled up at him even anajli and akash had come up by then...

P: what? You just keep quiet arnav we have to go ...

A: bye khushi take care and all the best

K: same to you arnav...tc

They greeted everyone and left

P: khushi don't you have any sense

Preeto: khushi you idiot did you even realise that you and arnav were up alone for 2 hours while the rest of us were down

K: what do you'l mean

P: it doesn't look good khushi

What will they think? Why do you just get carried away

K: i'm sorry jiji...oh god i never thought it would be like this i shoud have just come off down

She felt so stupid and worried but after all what's the use of crying over spilt milk

2 months later

There was a function in buaji's relative's house in delhi and again the whole gupta family had gone there..

The funcion went on smoothly khushi enjoyed herself. She was having lots of fun with all the children there...and the children wanted to go outside and play

All the men were standing in a group outside and talking

When phupaji called out to her...

Khushi beta are you enjoying yourself with the children

K: yes phupaji and then she wished arnav's dad

And she spotted him too

But she ignored as everyone was there...but she noticed that he was acting strange...

He was slowly moving away from the crowd and leaned against a car with his hand crossed over his chest ...he lifted one hand and tried moving it like as if he was trying to tell her something ...

Khushi was standing quite far she could not understand what he was upto...

And then she realised

THE FRIENDSHIP BAND SHE HAD GIVEN HIM WAS TIED TIGHTLY AROUND HIS WRIST...

She felt like running upto him and flinging her arms around him...

How sweet was that? She was overwhelmed by his gesture and she knew she was actually in LOVE

She looked at him and he smiled
