Yea because that's all she can do. With that overweight body and unprofessional conduct of hiding her pregnancy just to be in a film and then being publicly replaced after an international press conference, there's not much she can do.

Ash is always happy, as long as the cookie jar is close by.

She has better things to do than read reviews of a film which is being trashed all over. She has just been appointed as goodwill ambassador for United Nations as a messenger of peace and is happily holidaying with her daughter and husband in the US.

45 days he announced to the world... when in reality it took him eight months, which is like 240 days. So he clearly was unprepared to complete the film on time. Despite the pregancy announcement, Ash was willing to complete the film as per schedule, but MB just wasn't ready because he knew he wasn't organized enough to pull it off in the stipulated schedule - and that is why he freaked out. What if he continued to shoot and couldn't complete it in 45 days? The bump would begin to show after that.. so he would have to stall the film until she is back. And who would take the blame for that? Himself, because it was his job to finish the film as per schedule. So what is the way out? Blame the actress for hiding something she isn't obligated to tell others in the first place. And use this as a major publicity stunt to hype up the film. And that's what he did.

What happened in the end? Karma strikes always! Aishwarya delivered a beautiful baby instead of a turkey of a film. And MB's film is being trashed all over, with him being criticized the most. This is called poetic justice.

All kinds of things go wrong with all kind of projects. That's like telling a contracter he has to finish building a set of houses in a month or the project won't be completed for 2 years. Doesn't matter if it rains, his workers go on strike, his permits don't come through. It has to be finished. Which man with half a brain would take a risk like that?

That's not telling a contractor. That's the contractor himself telling he will finish his job in the stipulated time. If he isn't able to, it is HIS problem. Not the client's.

One can only allot a certain number of dates. If the director is not prepared, it doesn't mean he can delay it to whatever time he likes. The actors have other committments too, like other projects and they cannot let go of those projects just because this project is left hanging in the middle because of a disorganized director.
