I dont get it why doesn't Khushi just tell Arnav whats going on...I mean that would be way easier and Im sure Arnav will definitely understand! LOL is it weird to say that Im enjoying the fights cuz they were "doing it" way to much :)

Part 83

Neil and Simran walked in on a Sunday morning to meet the Raizada small clan. "Morning" they chorused to bring their attention to the Raizada's. Aryan began clapping and went running to Neil to hug him.

"Khushi..ummmhh can you ask HP to prepare some brekkie for them?" he asked hesitantly.

Khushi nodded not wanting to make a scene. "Anyway ASR heard your opening a new fashion branch in the UK...great going eh?"

"Yeh there is a demand for our products there..."

Arnav began mixing his milk in his tea and was lost into his cup. Neil looked on first a little amused and then worried as his friend looked upset about something.

"ASR all okay with you?"

He looked up like he had been caught. "Yeh I'm fine just a little tired".

"Uh ASR show me your new plants you have grown". Neil took his friend away from the ladies and began chatting.

"Now out with it! What's wrong?"

"Nothing why you getting paranoid?" he folded his hands defensively.

"Come on ASR we go back a long way..you can trust me with anything...its Khushi right?"

He took a small spade and began cleaning his plants.

"What makes you think it's her?"

"Oh come on ASR! Nothing fazes you unless it's Khushi".

He threw the spade on the side. "Yes it is happy? We are having problems...major ones...so big that we cannot even have a conversation let alone sleep in one room".

"ASR" he sounded shocked.

"It's all your fault!" Arnav looked at Neil in a blame game challenge.

"My fault what did I do?"

"You gave nazr (bad eye) to us... about how lucky I am that Khushi is so romantic...and come two weeks she does not even want to know me!"

"ASR sorry man but I just said it because I was genuinely happy for you man".

"I know.." he said knowing that.

"ASR just let go of the problem...just pretend it's not happening and treat her like you normally would...why don't you buy her a designer sari or something?...she will get happy that you went out and chose one for her...it works like a treat with Simran".

"Sari?" he smiled a little.

Khushi walked into her bedroom to get ready for the day. Arnav sat there with his laptop waiting for her to enter. As she entered he got up and gave her a boxed sari.

"Khushi it's for you..."

She looked at the box and then at her husband who was trying his utmost to make her happy.

"I don't want it!" she gritted her teeth.

"Come on Khushi at least see it?"

"Why are you forcing me to accept your so called present...I said I don't want it".

"Please just once have a look.."

She angrily took the box and threw it across the bedroom. Arnav gritted his teeth and pulled Khushi onto his body.

"How dare you!"

"Arnav Singh Raizada when I said leave me alone I meant leave me alone...we are finished!"

He let go of her hearing her say that they are finished.

Khushi ran away feeling her anger had taken over her mental well being again. She went into Aryan's room and began sobbing holding onto the net curtain.

Arnav was sleeping in his room. Khushi from the outside door was looking at him. She touched the gliding doors. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. She went into the mandir in their house and began singing to her Devi Maiyaa.

Khushi:Tuje kya kahoo tujse moo kyon hain mora, mohobhat ka mandir kyon hain maine tora? Mere devta maaf karna muje toh muqadar ne mujko kahi ka na chora, kahi ka na chora...tuj bin sooni meri mann beena sajna...(What can I say to you why I have turned my face away from you? This shrine of love why have I have broken it? My Lord (Referring to Arnav) please forgive me fate has not left me for anywhere..not left me for anywhere...without you my heart song is lonely...)

The next morning Arnav was trying to get immersed into his work but was finding it difficult. He picked his wallet and looked at Khush's photo with tears in his eyes. Giving her photo a kiss he put it on his chest.

Arnav:Kinara kiya tune humdum waha se, rahi do kadam apni manzil jaha se, main kaise nazaro se nazre milao, kaha jao bach kar zamee asma se...? Tune khud ko mujse kyon cheena sajni...(Beloved You went ashore on one side when the destination was only two steps away...how can I meet eyes with all my surroundings, where can I hide from the earth and sky? Why did you snatch yourself away from me?)

Aryan was playing hide and seek with his dad. Khushi looked on feeling left out. As Arnav looked at her she turned around and began wiping the table.

Khushi:Khiyalon se apne muje dur karde, tu yaado ko wo aaina choor kar de(Remove me from all your thoughts and break that mirror of memories)

Standing near his pool he paced up and down not knowing what to do with the separation being in the same house they were facing.

Arnav:Muje darr hain vaishat kahi mere dil ki muje na tabai pe majboor kar de..tune khud se mujse kyon cheena(I fear my own fear that my heart will make me helpless for destruction...why did you snatch yourself away from me?)

Khushi was giving Aryan a bath but was getting distracted by her thoughts. Aryan kept calling her to hurry up putting water on him.

Khushi:Sajna tere bina kya jeena

Khushi began getting ready to go out for her so called gym session. As she came down she saw Arnav pacing and talking on his Bluetooth. She walked slowly towards him.

"I want to see results! That's why I pay you don't I? A bird does not even move its wing without Arnav Singh Raizada's permission..."

Khushi gulped thinking she was doing more than move her wings and what would he do if he found out?

"Listen I have detectives working for me out of India so you think I will let people around me fool me?"

He saw Khushi standing there and he nodded his head acknowledging her. "Yeh I gotta go and make sure you get the truth out of him..."

He cut the call. "Khushi your going to the gym with Piya?"

"Yes!" she curtly said avoiding any conversation with him.

He moved near her and looked at her concerned. "Khushi if there is anything bothering you can tell me...you can tell me anything...there is nothing Arnav Singh Raizada cannot sort out with a click of his fingers".

"There is nothing..I need to go...keep an eye on Aryan he is upstairs playing with his trains".

She rushed off with her addidas bag and he looked on sadly. She had made herself away from him and there was nothing he could do.

John waited for her in the local park and she went to him. "So don't you think it's about time we got to the bottom of this?"

He smirked and tried touching her and she moved back. "What's the hurry I'm enjoying us sneaking out and meeting..its uh fun!"

She sighed and spoke in her milder tone. "So John tell me..what do you want me to do?"

"I want you to break your marriage with ASR".

"WHAT?!" She looked at him with eyes all wide.

"Yes...you know make him divorce you...he already has some seeds of doubt...so do something that he thinks you're being unfaithful".

"You are joking!" she looked at him.

"Welll Khushi if you want to be with me...that's what you will have to do...I am not going to just have a fling with you".

Neil came to meet ASR and found him babysitting Aryan. "Uh who would have thought the great ASR will babysit his own son?...having nannies and maids suits you better".

Arnav sat Aryan on a chair and gave him chips and a burger. "Well I have missed too much time with him when he was born so it's the least I could do..can you imagine how much Khushi must have gone through on her own? All the stress and anxiety I caused her..and on top I was nowhere near her in the nine months up to his birth and then how she coped with a child on her own...every time I see Aryan I feel guilt at missing his first smile, first tooth, first time he sat, crawled and walked...I have missed so much".

Neil could see the pain in his eyes. "ASR what is done is done...just concentrate on the future..better late than never!"

He nodded his head and then wiped Aryan's face which was smeared with ketchup.

"Anyway ASR how's things with bhabi?"

"Uh same as..." he said with a tinge of disappointment.

"SO the sari idea.."

"Did not work she threw it back on my face!"

"Is she still at the gym?"

"Ya she goes with Piya...maybe it will help her sort herself out.."

"Probably...ummhh let me talk to Piya maybe she will know what is bugging her?"

Neil took his mobile out and was about to dial his number that Arnav stopped him.

"No! She will be with her and this might backfire".

"Don't worry I will be discreet..."

Neil made a call to Piya. "Hi Piya its Neil...ummmhhh is Khushi with you?"

"Uh no" she answered a bit confused.

"That's good! Piya me and ASR were wondering if you could help us find out why Khushi is down these days...you know she goes to the gym with you so you could talk to her".

"To be honest I haven't seen her and she is not picking my calls for weeks!"

"You mean she not going gym with you every day?"

Arnav began panicking and took the phone from Neil. "Piya its Arnav...Khushi is with you right?"

"No sir she hardly ever contacts me now...it's been weeks".

Arnav went into his 'ASR' mode and changed his tone. "Not to worry nothing I cannot handle".

He cut the call and looked away from Neil. "Why is bhabi lying to you?"

Arnav tried to hide his anger from Neil. "Maybe I misunderstood".

After a few moments Khushi walked in with her bag. "Hi Neil, how's Simran?"

"She is good bhabi...ummmhh had a good workout?"

"Yesss me and Piya had a good time..tried this zumba class it was awesome! You should ask Simran to join".

Arnav look at Khushi despicably. Neil held onto Arnav's shoulder. "Calm down ASR...there might be a reason behind all this".

Khushi walked up and Neil left after a while. Arnav got into his SUV and drove off manically. A thousand thoughts kept coming and going.

***Flashback***

"I am your well wisher...and all I'm going to say is your wife is having an affair".

***Flashback ended***

He got out of his car and began frantically walking up and down. His mind said she was in the wrong and his heart said she cannot do this. Uncontrollable tears came from his eyes and he broke down.

"NOOO" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

His grief soon turned back to 'ASR' anger.

"Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada...it's high time I judged whether you deserve my trust in you..if I find out that you have double crossed me then God save you from my wrath!"

He looked on with an angry determination.
