Its ok Jess, a huge opening doesn't have to be 100 Cr like a Salman film! No one is exaggerating.Any other actor could've done it...but now Ranbir did it so let him enjoy the success he is getting and in the meanwhile you can keep rocking with your salKat ! 😆

I don't think Rishi Kapoor is not proud of Ranbir. Its just the way some parents talk - some praise their kids very visibly, some do it indirectly. I've seen quite a few parents, mostly dads, in India take a similar tone: 'ya he's doing his own thing, he seems to be enjoying it, bhai hamari samajh mein toh aata nahi", especially when the child is doing some incredible things in their career. As for Ranbir, I saw Barfi and wow!!

Ranbir was awesome in Barfi!! I hope he continues to showcase his acting skills instead of joining the herd and making usual masala movies.

As an actor Rishi Kapoor might see flaws in his son's acting but as a father he can advise how to rectify those flaws.

He's entitled to his own opinion definitely but I still think Ranbir's choices of films have been pretty darn good because it has worked in his favour, critics have liked his performances! I certainly like his work, WUS, APKGK, Rajneeti, Saawariya and of course recently Rockstar so I definitely he's a really good actor. Can't wait to watch Barfi though!

I was disappointed with the film although I just loved Sonam and RK's chemistry so cute man ughh hated her when she left with Salman😡
