Ashutosh left her hand when they get into there room. He moved ahead and placed her bag beside one bed and turn to look at her who was looking at other side, with her arms crossed, making a sulking face. He smiled, she just behave like a baby sometimes.

"Main reception se ja k kuch information lay k ata hoon...tab tak tum fresh ho jaoo...30 mins main meeting hai sub k saath ta ke hum kuch strategy plan kar sakain" Nidhi just listen to him still huffing

"Am I clear Dr.Nidhi?" He asked on getting no response from Nidhi.

"Yes Sir" she said gritting her teeth as he just give her a look and left the room.

"Am I clear Dr.Nidhi?"She mimicked him...

"samjhte kia hain apne app ko..." She said as she marched to the single bed in huff, pulled her bag up on the bed, open it to take out her dress

She was still mumbling, when her cell buzzed and seeing the name, her anger rose to a different level. She quickly took the call and straightly started on

"Anji ki bachi...teri himmat kaise howi ye sub karne ki...tu apne app ko samjhti kia hai...match-maker hai yaan koi lawyer hai jo sulah-safai karwanay chala ho...Mujhe ghar anay day, tujhe chooron gi nahin" Nidhi said in pure anger just to hear anji laughing like crazy on the other side

"Tau I think plan kaam kar gaya...or tu hotel bhi safely pohanch gaye...or abh tujhe jeja g k saath he room share karna par raha hai" She said with a smile

"Main janti thi...ye sab tera hi kia dhara hai...akhir teri porb...problem kia hai??" Nidhi asked in irritated voice

"meri problem ye hai k meri best friend khush nahin hai..."Anji said in a serious tone and that stopped Nidhi to say a thing further

"Nidhi...tu chahay jiss marzi se jhoot bol lay...likin tu mujh se kabhi jhoot nahin bol sakti yaar...Main janti hoon k aik doosre se door reh k na tum khush ho, or na jeja g...or problem kia hai, bus tum dono ki ego's..." Anji said giving her a piece of mind

"Anji tu..." Nidhi started to retort when anji inturrupted her

"Nahin Nidhi...bus bohut howa...main manti hoon k maine or Dr.Ranganath ne yeh plan kia tha wo bhi just iss liye k aik saath raho gay tau baat karne ka mauqa milay ga...Apne indifferences ko khatam karo abh Nidhi...Apni baat jeja g ko aram se samjhao or I am sure k woh samjh jayein gay" Anji said consoling her...Nidhi thought over her words for a minute

"Ok...I will try...But teri iss harkat k liye main tjhe kabhi nahin choron gi" Nidhi said again getting into fighting mood that made Anji smile

"Lar leyna...likin shukar kar...room main 2 single bed hain...warna main tau keh rahi thi k aik master bed hona chahiye" Anji said in a teasing tone that made Nidhi blushed

"Chup kar..." Nidhi shooed her

"Acha acha baba...chal tera din bohut hectic hoga na aj ka...tu apna kaam kar...baad main baat karti hoon" Anji said with a sweet simle

"OK...bye"

"Bye" Anji cut the call. Nidhi keep sitting on bed thinking over Anji's words. When her eyes get to the clock in the room and she rushed up with her dress to take her shower

30 minutes later, at 8am, the KGH staff standing outside the hotel.

"Ok...Maine reception se kuch information akatha ki hai or patah chala hai k ye gaoon bohut baray ilaqay main phaila howa hai...Population just 300 hai likin iss k area ki wajha se, ghar kafi door door hain...bahoon main bemari gaoon k har portion main hai tau humain groups main kaam karna hoga" Ashutosh said as all nod.

He opened a draft paper having a rough sketch of the village

"Humain teen groups main jana hoga...Dr.Priyanka and Dr.Ahana, app Sukhdev(2nd wardboy) k saath gaoon ki iss portion main jayein gi" Ashutosh circled an area on the paper with a marker.

"Dr.Priyanka, app pehle aise camps pe aa chuki hain...tau Dr.Ahana ko train karna appka kaam hoga...aur Sukhdev app ki help k liye saath hoga" The three nodded in agreement. Ahana wasn't happy with the news. She wanted to go with Ashutosh but she had already bare enough of his anger from the morning, so didn't wanted annoy him more

"Dr.Nidhi" He turned to Nidhi now...who was standing holding her hands. "App Janki Bai or Raghu k saath gaoon k iss portion main jayein gi...' Ashutosh marked a circle in the middle area of the village sketch and Nidhi and Janki Bai nodded

"Or Main, Sister Malini k saath iss portion main jaoon ga..." He make a last circle. "Gaon thora backward area hai...may be gaoon walay apke saath corporate na karain...likin ye apka kaam hai k har aik ko aid milay...Understood" Ashutosh said in pure professional way

"App apni medicines or equipments abhi collect kar lijiye ga...Lunch k liye apke boxes ready karwa diye gaye hain...Ho sakta hai network problem ho tau hum aik doosre k saath connect na kar sakain, likin main ye expect karta hoon k app sub apna 100 percent dain gay" Ashutosh voiced like a true leader.

"Yes Sir" All said at once.

"Ok then, lets start...and I hope hum is main successful hoon gay...Or aik akhri baat...gaon main app apna yaan is hotel ka number zaroor pass on kar k ayeiye ga...Hum yahan do din rukne walay hain...Although hum regularly apnay assigned areas main visit karain gay, likin in case of emergency, yeh numbers hamare kaam aa sakte hain..." All said yes and wishing them luck...Ashutosh moved to get into bus.

The groups were dropped near there assigned area but as there were fields around, they have to help themselves to get into the village.

Ashutosh looked long at the back of Nidhi as she left the bus with Janki Bai and Raghu till the bus moved on and she was away from his eye-sight. He sigh...How he wish that they will go back home as one, only if Nidhi will give him a chance to explain.

The whole day went busy for the three groups.

~Priyanka, Ahana & Sukhdev~

Priyanka, Ahana and Sukhdev get into the village and knock on a door.

An middle age woman, tucking the pallu in her mouth open the door.

"Kaun aye?" She asked

Priyanka has attend these camps so knew perfectly how she have to assure the parents about the treatment of vaccination rather than scaring them direct on the first hand. She started to say something when Ahana moved ahead and started
 
"G hum doctors hain...apke bachoon ko injection lagane aye hain" Ahana said trying to show herself efficient but just hearing that, the woman backfired on them

"Jao g jao...humain nahin lagwanay apne bachoon ko teekay...pichli baar bhi koi doctor aya tha or galat injection laga gaya...5 din tak mera bacha bukhar main tapta raha...mujhe abh phir koi teekay na lagwanay apnay suraj ko..." She said and pushed them out, without letting them explain a thing. Sukhdev look at Ahana with a weird look. Even he know enough now how to handle the relatives of patients now. Priyanka who was standing there holding her stethoscope in hard grip to control her anger, give her a glare.

"Kia, main tau just apna kaam kar rahi thi" Ahana said with an innocent face when Priyanka took a step ahead and turn to Ahana. "Dr.Ahana, ye behtar hoga kay app aik baar mujhe ye situation handle karta dekhain...uske baad apni efficiency dekhain" Priyanka turned and knock on the door and the woman who was about to retort again, listen to her carefully as Priyanka request her and then let her get inside to treat her only son. "Phew" Priyanka sigh. Dr.Ahana is gonna be a handful. She thought and went on to her work.


~Nidhi, Janki Bai & Raghu~

On the other hand, Nidhi was lucky enough to got the support of an elderly lady. She quietly explained to her the seriousness of the situation and also told her about the medication. The old lady listen to her carefully and blessed this angel who was there to serve the people of her village.

"Beta, Tum yahan meray ghar main he beitho...Mere ass paroos k saray log khud he yahan aa jayein gay...Bus dus minute deyna haan" She asked Nidhi and Janki Bai to set up there camp in the Veranda of her house. She provided them a table and three chairs and also asked them that they can use a spare room of her house for check-ups.

"Appka bohut bohut dhanead...apko patah nahin app ne hamara kaam kitna assan kar diya hai" Nidhi said in a grateful tone while the lady hushed her.

"Beta, jab tum log itni door se, apna ghar parivar kaam sub chor k itni door hamari madad ko aye hoo...tau itna tau hum kar he sakte hain na" The lady patted her head and left to call her neighbors and soon people started coming with there infected relatives. While Raghu helped them with the patients, Nidhi did the check-ups and on the basis of her analysis, Janki Bai were helping with Injections and medications. They divided there work but it work best as this part of the village has more infected cases then the other's.

For Ashutosh and Sister.Malini, work went as per routine. They went from house to house for check-ups and provided them medication as per needed. Ashutosh excused himself in between from time to time to check if he have any signals to call Nidhi...but unfortunately, there were not a single weak signal even. The villagers use land-lines mostly but that was of no use for ashutosh too as Nidhi's cell must also not be having any service and in the area, Nidhi was in, he don't know any land-line number of there to contact her. So he sulk, missed her and continue with his work.

The day went on like this and now, the sun was about to set. Ashutosh, Sister Malini were the first one's to get back to the hotel as they were done with half of the area. Ashutosh get in to his room and after straightening his back for sometime, went to take a peaceful cold shower. The heat from the day, really drained him. Dr.Ahana, Dr.Priyanka and Sukhdev arrived seconds and were tired to bones so they also went straight to there rooms to take some rest before having their dinner.

Nidhi, Janki Bai and Raghu were collecting there things. The sun was set and the blackness of the night was surrounding the area.

"Beta, tum log raat ko yaheen ruk jao...kafi raat ho gaye hai" The old woman said in a motherly tone to Nidhi.

"Nahin Amma..." she got really close to her in the day as she helped them with everything. She even didn't let them take there packed foods and made fresh yummy food for them by herself. She was a fairly rich woman of the village who live with her one daughter.

"Apne hamare liye aj waise bhi bohut kia hai..."Nidhi hold the hands of the old lady. "likin raat hum yahan nahin ruk sakte as k humain apne Sir ko sari tafseel batani hai aj k bare main...or phir kal parsoon bhu humain chakar tau lagana hai na" Nidhi explained polietly.

"Beta, issi liye tau main keh rahi hoon...kal jo tum logon ko phir ana hai tau yaheen ruk jao aur aram kar lo...abhi janay main bhi adha ghanta tau lag he jaye ga aur waise bhi itni raat ko akele jana sahi nahin" Old woman said in pure motherly tone

"Amma, akele kahan hai...yeh Raghu bhaiya hain na..." Nidhi said smiling at Raghu who smiled back at them. Just a day really made Nidhi get close to Janki bai and raghu more. While janki bai treated her as a little sister, Raghu too found a sister in her.

"Likin..." Amma was about to say something when janki bai, who was noticing Nidhi's expression and know very well that now if amma g forced, Nidhi willn't be able to say No to her, spoke up.

"Maa g...hum yahan nahin reh sakte...kyun k mera or raghu ka tau koi nahin, Dr.Nidhi ka hotel main koi zaroor intezar kar raha hoga" Nidhi who was taken by surprise with janki bai's words, blushed looking at Amma, biting her lower lip.

"Ohoo...tau ye baat hai" Amma said with shinning eyes. She knew it well that Nidhi is married as it was impossible that she didn't notice Nidhi's sindoor filled maang...No matter how well she tried to hide that.

"Tumhare pati bhi saath aye hain..." Amma asked and again Janki Bai spoke up.

"Hamare Sir he tau inh k pati hain" janki bai said with naughtiness in her voice while Nidhi's face turn red

"Phir tau jana zaroori banta hai...Aik tau tumhare afsar, uper se pati...abh tumhain rokna mushkil hai" Amaa said with a happy laugh that made Raghu and Janki Bai laugh too...

"Chalo phir mai tum logon k liye sawari ka bandobast karti hoon" And she went out to call a neighbour who own a tonga. Nidhi helped him with his two children and wife and he was more than greatful to escort them back to the hotel.

I Loved this chapter. Your attention to the medical aspects were amazing.  I could almost see the villages, and the people that the charcters were interacting with.

I also really appreciated the fact that Ashutosh put Nidhi in a different group from hi self.

This his thorough professionalism.

My favorite, though was the Anji and Nidhi conversation.  Anji is a true friend indeed.

i first try to omit the camp details...and just wrote the day was hectic n blah blah but then i thoughts its unfair...so added this camping part...DMG dekh dekh k thora tau patah hai med camps ka😆😆😆
well agar ashu ka bus chalta tau rakh leyta nidhi ko but the area of the village was more n 2ndly, he had to trust her medical capabilities...
anji is a true best friend...for sure...glad you like this part dear
