I too feel he was more attracted physically, emotional bonding from Yash's side yet to happen. During the SR he told Prateek that being married is not just about physical intimacy! But he himself went ahead and did the same... He is too ashamed by it.

I don't think its just physical attraction. Yash is akind of more emotions than physic, of course physic matters. In drunken state, all your inhibitions are lost n so a person talks truth or whatever is in his mind and not the things which his brain thinks.

In that state he twice or thrice says Aarti that he wants to say something to her but just laughs n keeps quiet. She says him 'ab to keh do Yashji' She is waiting him to say that he likes her.

I agree that he is not madly in love but definitely longing for her n wants to live the remaing life with her. If u remember the previous rain sequence, he watches her for sometime before she realises his presence.That time only that longing has started n increased in Mumbai trip when he becomes very free to her n decides to live happily. He consciously has not yet decided that he would live happily with Aarti but at subconscious level he knows that Aarti is the reason why he feels to live happily.

He is in the state of denial because his brain is afraid of the feeling of he cheating Arpita which will continue for a longer time. One day he will admit that he really loves Aarti very much. Let's wait for the day.
