So ARVI scenes are back but how? This is getting only more painful to watch after Arjun softening towards Ovi. Hell, if you are going to get angry at Purvi, you should be angry as hell at your childhood best friend too and I guess, please be angry at yourself as well for being such a puppy dog in front of both. So disappointing to see today's scene. :(( And Purvi crying, well yeah I guess, I understood her pain for once when she was seeing the wedding album and remembered her GREAT AAI talking about how she got her children back.
And Please whoever supports marriage and the likes and thinks OVI-ARJUN should work it out, I think it is completely wrong to show even this. Ovi has acted like the most selfish person on this show, just demanding whatever the hell she wants and getting it on a silver plate. She has tried all sorts of emotional blackmail, dealing and suicide attempts and glorifying any of these by showing the marriage to work out is like telling all crazy obsessive people out there, if you love someone, try a suicide attempt or emotional blackmail and even if the person doesn't give two hoots about you, once you are married, it will work out, because guess what MArriage is a sacred union. I am sorry, but marriage is not just about holy pheras and god's blessings and all the righteousness that comes along with it, it also means being true and giving to the partner in return. A Marriage based on false truths and conniving and cheating is not exactly a marriage. And Arjun found out about Ovi's little back door deal after getting married, so in a way SHE did cheat him. When he married Ovi, he only did it for Purvi, not knowing that the woman he is marrying has struck this deal in the first place. Such a marriage is not a marriage no matter how many God;s were witness to it. Showing this work out is also in a way, mocking marriage as an institution.
So I DEF do not support this marriage anymore than I support domestic violence in a marriage. Cheating, blackmailing and selfish thoughts do not constitute a healthy marriage and in now way should EKTA should this to work out because it is giving out such a wrong signal. It is liek saying if someone is getting abused in a marriage, or someone's wife cheated on him or vice versa, you should not break your marriage because guess what? You took pheras and put sindoor and this is so holy and sacred. I am sorry, but what is wrong is wrong and nothing can redeem Ovi's severe lack of concern for anyone else in her life except herself.
THe nerve of the psycho woman to go tell Archu to send Purvi away? That was it for me to give Ovi's character any sympathy or second chance. Get with it woman! you forced this marriage by blackmail and even if people gave in to you because he loved her so much, does not mean you will go to any lengths to force him to love you too. This shows her complete disregard for him, his pain and suffering or his feelings. What a wife she is going to make? I repeat she only wants Arjun to shower love, shop with her, party with her and take her around as arm candy wherever he goes. I don't think you can show such a lady winning the game of love or marriage.
I don't know how much to expect this show to turn around! Archu already gave hopes to Ovi that things will work out between ovi and arjun. And she has not once called Purvi since morning to ask her how she is doing? Wow, I guess I was right, Archu has her babies back and even if she thinks of Purvi in pain, the first instinct a mother should have is to check on her daughter who has lost everything just a night before. But ofcourse, she found " her" kids, so now all Purvi will be, is in her thoughts.
Sulo toh makes me want to tear my hair apart. Purvi wants to join office and instead of supporting her decision so that she can get busy and get over her trauma, you are wondering WTH you will do all alone in the house. Go take sanyaas, old lady! Because you being around is only making things worse for people. It should have been sulo suggesting a movie so that Purvi can get distracted but our SULO DARLING only has the eye for her own needs and wishes. Poor Purvi stuck with a granny who won't care and a mother who won;t be there.
I keep telling myself that things will turn aroudn for good, what a fool I am. Ovi becoming positive is like wishing Savita licking Archana;s feet. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. and who knows in the future OVi might beg Purvi to marry Sameer Rane so that Arjun can get over it. and people want this lady's marriage to work out?
On the upside, was nice seeing manav-archana happy and the bonding with the kids!
No offense to anyone about Ovi but it's time everyone starts realizing she is the next negative character on the show after Savita and if they show her marriage working out which is based on blakcmail and cheating, then I for one will have serious doubts about the institution that ekta believes in.
