Jai ... Thank u for always being nice and positive... and what Im about to say I will prob be bashed for. But... I have to say it cause this is what I see. Please note this is not against ANY member or actor.
The way this script is shaping up is that Ovi, due to her being ArMan daughter must get all of her happiness and must end up with Prince Arjun (thank u Kools for the terminology). AND ... Purvi, being who is, must be living the middle class life and remain right where she is and never move up. And what? Raise sanskaari children and live a life beyond reproach?
This complete bakwass and backward thinking from Ekta, her CVs and anyone who buys this trash. Have they ruined our ArVi to satisfy their/Ekta's version of middle class ppl who don't and won't accept an adopted girl? have they really torn them apart and will now make Ovi the 2nd lead... why did they play with the feelings of the younger generation and the international viewers when they don't cater for us?
On top of that... if Ekta sends ppl to the chawl, all the die hard ArMan fans will WANT to see ArMans duaghter with the 2nd lead actor. NOT the orphan girl that's not theirs.
I think this track is complete BS and its turning out this way cause Ekta's or her CVs or the ppl who do the TRPs check are still back in 19th century or maybe its just that way for the viewers who are tired of the run of the mill drama.
I think you misunderstood my POV dear..I clearly stated Ekta cares for no viewers..For TRP's she is forced to react to certain things and that is Arman re-union.Arman re-union and Arvi are a different ball game all together.They dont mingle and have a different fan base.
I dont know what Ekta has in store for Arvi but her foundation fan base requirement was for Arman to re-unite and sort things out.Chawl folks are way more traditional than any as far as I know (I know few of my friends belong to many chawls across India) and value marriage and its meaning.Hence they were pissed very badly about Arman and wanted them to re-unite.
Whatever it is they would have also wanted Arvi to unite for all happiness.I cannot say on that coz Arman fan base wanted for the re-unite but not at cost of anyone happiness as far I know.
What Ekta decides its upto her.She does not give a damn.
She is forced to unite Arman coz of the TRP game as far as I see it.Otherwise she would have even stretched more.So as far as I see Ekta is her own boss and she does not take suggestions from her viewers nor care a damn.For her its a business which means money and the ladder for it is TRP which is trying to get.Simple hard fact I guess.She is doing what is necessary for her TRP race i guess.I dont blame anyone here nor I can I guess except surrender to the fact that Ekta has the final say no matter what.
