The popular notion of a son being preferred over a daughter is put to rest by our STAR Plus parents who hold a different opinion. According to them, daughters definitely outshine sons and are equally contributing towards society and carry their family name forward. We spoke to a few of the STAR Plus parents and here's what they have to say about their daughters. The Saxena family: Although Pratigya hails from a small town but she has always stood for what is right without any fear. "She has always been a good daughter and has even sacrificed her own happiness for us. I have raised both, my daughters and son equally without any discrimination and feel proud of them," says Shyamji Saxena. |
