Both of them sat in the cold waiting for their train to come along. Smriti finally gathered the courage to break the silence. "You should have told him why you were leaving."

"Why do you care?" Kriya spit back. Yes, she was mad at her mother for doing this to her. Smriti shut her eyes taking in the pain of what she feared most'Kriya not understanding her and going against her.

"Kriya!" She said with disbelief. "You might not understand the reason now, but trust me' my intention is not to steal away your happiness!"

"Oh really? Because that is exactly what it seems like to me. Yea, how about this? Maybe you can tell me why and I can try to understand?"

Smriti stayed silent, her head bowed. "Yea, that's what I thought! There you go again mom. Always ordering me around! You never tell me the reason 'why'. How am I supposed to understand then?"

Smriti had no reply back for her. She was right after all. She never did tell Kriya about anything. She always hid things from her' the most important things. She took in a deep breath, opened her purse to take out a piece of paper and pen.

"It's still not late. If you can't speak in front of him, then write him a note. He doesn't deserve a backstab from you. I'll go check why the train isn't here yet." Saying that, she got up and left Kriya to herself.

Kriya walked her mother walk away. She looked back at the paper in her hand and then back at her mother. Again, she was left stunned. What was she to think of her mother?! She could never understand.

She took out a box from the bag to use as support while she wrote the letter. She wrote two: one for Swayam and rest of her friends and one only for Rey. (What she wrote in the letters, I will not reveal right now. Wait and see)

As for Swayam, Rey and Sharon' all of them were distraught. Sharon was losing her confidence. Rey was worried about Kriya while being upset for being cheated upon. Swayam was upset about everything around. For his best friend Rey, for his love Sharon, worried about Kriya!

Sharon called Rey for support and he sent Swayam there instead. He was in no mood to talk to anyone' not even Swayam or Sharon. Thus, he simply went back to his house.

The next morning, Sharon woke up with a smile on her face as she remembered the last night's events. Even though they didn't win and get in the finale, she was feeling happy to have Swayam there for her. The way he held her by his waist and pulled her back just made her blush deeply.

As the saying goes, all good things come to an end. She got out of bed and the happy feeling disappeared as well, knowing that she would never be able to dance again like before; with all the courage and fearing no one. Shivam had left an invisible scar on her heart that she was afraid would never go away.

With a gloomy feeling, she entered the college. People looked at her and talked about it. Obviously, everyone knew about it but they didn't know it was Shivam at fault. She started walking quickly, just wanting to disappear from there. Coming in the locker room, she locked herself in one of the stalls, not wanting others to see her cry. She was practically tripping. She didn't know how to get a hold of herself!

Swayam entered the locker room, making sure no one was around so he wouldn't get caught. He had actually seen Sharon rush in there and no matter how angry he was regarding her and Shivam issue, he still cared for her. And Shivam was past now. He simply wanted to be there for her.

Wiping her tears, Sharon walked out of the stall to run into Swayam. He held her, preventing her from falling. As her own hands laid on his shoulder, she wondered about what would happen next.

On the other side of the college, Rey was all upset and confused. He wasn't able to get a hold of Kriya and didn't know where she was! That morning, when he went by her house to pick her up, the door was locked. He assumed she must have left for college. But coming to college, he couldn't find her anywhere! He was already upset with what happened to his team. And to add to it, he couldn't find the one person he wanted to confide and share his feelings with.

In Dehradhun, Smriti woke up Kriya to get ready and then give her admission forms to the college. She was awake and out of the door but she was like a living dead. She was alive and there in Dehradhun. But her heart resided somewhere else. Her heart was back in Mumbai with her friends and mostly, with Rey as she thought about him' wondering what his reaction would be after reading the letter.

Sharon was lost in Swayam's eyes forgetting the world. His eyes captivated her and as always, Swayam gazed upon her and her beauty. She couldn't make sense of her thoughts and her feelings.

As Kriya continued on her way to the college, walking, she was in her own world of fantasy. She loved Rey so much and had giving herself to him. But now living without him? It was miserable. It had just been one night and this was her state already. Going to Mumbai seemed like a dream to her. It was as if she lived her life for two seconds and then she was away from them all.

Sharon blinked and balanced herself. Swayam removed his hands from around her after that and took a step back. She kept stealing glances and at other times, avoiding him. Him being there made her feel better for some reason. He didn't say anything nor did he ask anything. Yet, she felt like they were talking to each other and sharing their thoughts and problems.

Rey roamed the corridor of the college not knowing where exactly he wanted to go. He just kept on walking hoping to see Kriya somewhere. He came across the fire escape and saw the open door.

Without having control over his thoughts, he started rethinking the moments he had spent with Kriya in that place. Their first fight, the time they became friends, the moment she said he was more than a friend and all the other precious times haunted his memories.

Kriya returned home with the signed admission form. She would be going the college from next day but she cared least about that. Smriti watched her daughter who was with her but without the smile on her face that would always make Smriti smile as well.

In St. Louis, Vishakha saw Rey in a distance standing by the fire escape and felt sorry for him. She couldn't tell him either and she just knew, there would be a lot he'll go through in the next days.

Ok not much of a dialogue delivery style update as it's a song sequence but if you actually take the time out to kinda sing the lyrics in your head, listen to it, and imagine the scenes that I've written play in the back of your head, you will see that this does hold an importance to the story line. Hopefully you all can and will do that 😳

Oh and did you like Smriti? I hope you did 😃 And you see Kriya writing a letter too 😃 Just wait for next update to know what exactly she wrote 😉
