What I LOVED: 11th September 2012
Every dark cloud has a silver lining.
What that basically means is that the dark cloud is concealing behind it a huge source of light, which try as it might, it cannot completely hide. The rays of that huge light shine around the dark cloud and give its darkness a shiny silver outline. Even the darkest cloud looks decorated with it.
The best part is that clouds may come and go, but that light stays on forever. The only way for the cloud to go is to rain, and then sunshine follows. Water and light bring forth new life.
That said I would not be covering a lot today, because some sequences are still in motion. I would wait (as usual) for it to unfold and then form an opinion & write.
Performance
IPKKND Team: Am loving it!!
Progress Points
1. Arnav-Khushi disconnect
2. Shyam's victory
3. Shyam attempts to win hearts
Favorite Scene
Arnav-Khushi missing each other
Khushi disconnecting Arnav's call (YAY! MY GIRL!!)
Khushi hiding her phone under Spinach! She leaves me wondering every time she does something like this.
Arnav & Khushi
Let me start on the better note. Then, we'd move on to the other bitses!
Arnav-Khushi Dori Loosened?
There have been many, many foreshadows in the past month regarding this disconnect.
Arnav announced that Khushi was his wife and she had every right in his house. Khushi found a photograph of Arnav as an infant, where he was bathing, and they shared a light moment. Thereafter, Arnav stopped laughing all of a sudden and took the photo away from her.
WIL: 9th August 2012
"They laughed it off (when the bed broke), he laughed initially and then, when Khushi was relaxed, he stopped laughing and took the photo away from her. (Hmm... really!? Is that nice?)"
Arnav bared his heart to Khushi. However, during this time, the accident occurred and Arnav took away from Khushi that which he had shared with her – his closest guarded self. He's told her that it was his mistake that he let her so close to him, and now she's hurt him. She's broken his trust in her.
Arnav stated that as long as he lives, Shyam would not enter his house.
Quite literally, the Arnav who had surfaced when Shyam was out of RM, has indeed been buried now – for how long, we're yet to see.
Arnav told Khushi that she's done this knowing that he stated that he hates Shyam and anyone who brings him back would be his enemy (I don't really recall Arnav saying the 'enemy' bit, but he may have intended that each time he warned his family to not discuss Shyam).
Khushi attempts to pacify him, explain to him, and even attempted to comfort him – but Arnav is too angry at the thought of his sister being in the hands of his enemy and that Khushi went against him. He does not allow her to pacify or comfort him. He does not allow her to touch him.
When she leaves the room after he's shouted at her to go, he closes the door behind her.
Even as she goes, Khushi longingly touched the door of his room before she leaves.

Only You
It is an insight into how deeply he loves Khushi and needs her – Shyam has just re-entered his Di's life and his house, but when Arnav lies down to sleep at night, all he can think of is his argument with Khushi and is restless. His only thoughts are of Khushi. As usual, he realizes only as an afterthought, that he told her to leave him and go, and that shakes him.
Khushi silently weeps and only DM is a witness to her broken heart. Arnav has no company, not even DM, and no one to nurse his aching heart.
~
The next day, he can barely focus on anything. It doesn't look as though he is actively thinking of Shyam; it may be bothering him, but his focus is on the fact that since the previous day, he hasn't spoken to Khushi or seen her. He cannot take that much and decides to kill his ego and call her.
Khushi is busy making jalebis (two of them – how interesting!) when Arnav calls. Though initially she is all smiles to see his name flashing on her mobile, she remembers the argument, perhaps, and disconnects the call. [GOOD GIRL, Khushi! LUV ya!!]
He calls again, and yet again, the disconnect. Khushi hides the phone among vegetables. How convenient! And how cute! If Arnav could see what she did with the phone, he'd never know how to react! No wonder he is madly in love with her.
Ye shokhee, uff yumma! Ye shararat, uff yumma!
Pyar kyun na hoga, ye adaayen, uff yumma!
(I sometimes wanna do an entire WIL full of songs – that I love – to fit the scenarios!!)
Arnav finally figures out that an angry fiancee is more dangerous than an angry wife!! But then this is Arnav; He slams his own phone and leaves.
As the Foreshadow Portends
1. Khushi is ousted from RM. Arnav goes out. Shyam enters.
Bingo!
2. Arnav Khushi shagun takes place. Arnav barges in even though he is not supposed to – flaunts that he is technically allowed.
3. Anjali promises Dadi ji that Arnav and Khushi would not see each other after 'haldi'.
Bingo!
4. Khushi stops Arnav from adding 'Singh Raizada' to her name.
Keywords: Khushi stops - not Arnav, nor Anjali, not Snake-wa, not Dadi ji, not Garima. Arnav does not force her. When she stops, he accedes.
Arnav makes Khushi accept that she belongs to him by tricking her, although lovingly.
5. Arnav-Khushi Roka takes place. The new status of Arnav and Khushi is Engaged. Arnav repeats that Khushi belongs to him; this time Khushi agrees.
Arnav kisses Khushi, but because of Khushi's excuses, he is interrupted.
Khushi herself allows and adds the name 'Singh Raizada' to her name.
Arnav attempts to kiss Khushi again, but Khushi sees a shadow and leads Arnav out of that place.
Keyword: Khushi accepted – Arnav again did not force her. He was simply going by her wish to fulfill traditions and showing his love to her. Thereafter, Khushi accepted.
6. Arnav-Khushi Mehendi comes up. Arnav and NK spot something fishy.
During Mehendi, Arnav-Khushi disconnect over Arnav applying Mehendi and dancing. Arnav walks away. Khushi feels that he's run away off to somewhere again.
7. Arnav returns to see that Khushi's dori is loosened. (It was still tied, only a bit loose; minor disconnect; engaged, not yet married.) He calls her aside and ties the dori, and promises his love (Re-binding; bond strengthened; possible promise of marriage or marriage itself). When Arnav and Khushi return to the family, their bond is reassured.
8. During the dance, Khushi and Arnav:
Arnav promises he'd come to claim her and she should wait for him.
Khushi states that he would need to keep his love hidden in his heart.
9. Unlike the usual, this time it is not Anjali to brings Khushi to Arnav. Anjali is not even there; she is with Shyam. It is Nani ji who pushes Khushi into Arnav's arms.
Arnav & Shyam
Arnav was sure shocked to see that Shyam had the guts to come into Arnav's room and spout off his lousy apologies and explanations.
Shyam has the cheek to say that most of what happened between them was a misunderstanding. He leans on the 4 years that he and Arnav had a great relationship, and suggests they start over.
Arnav definitely has not fallen for any of Shyam's crocodile tears, smiles, and the sad face. He listens to the speech but the moment Shyam mentions the name 'Khushi' – that's all Arnav can take. He grabs Shyam by the throat and warns him not to ever speak her name again. Later, he warns him that his Di should not have tears in her eyes again.
~*~
The KEY
Arnav tells Shyam: Don't be under the impression that now you're back for good. It's just that Di is not well. The moment she is better, I'll throw you out.
Short term: Shyam would remember this and keep Anjali bound to him.
Long term: YES! Anjali is unwell. However, the moment Anjali gets better – that is, she sees Shyam for who he is – Arnav would throw Shyam out of his house.

Winning Hearts
Shyam – as expected – is now attempting to lie low till his place is fortified in RM once again. He is attempting to 'win hearts'.
He's apologized in the presence of Anjali and Dadi ji. What's more, he's stated in front of everyone that he'd need to talk to Arnav to clarify.
Dadi ji doesn't miss the opportunity to make it clear that Shyam was a mature person.
Shyam then prepares to decorate the house for Arnav and Khushi's wedding function.
Again, Dadi ji doesn't miss the chance to sing praises to Shyam.
If now, Dadi ji does find out about Garima, and if Shyam is aware, I feel he'd control the situation. He would not let Dadi ji go berserk on Garima or at least on the wedding proceedings. He has a VERY good way to do that too – the every fragile Rani Sahiba, who has just recovered, and might not be able to jhelo another shock-wa!
That'd add another feather to his cap for Dadi ji who already thinks no end of her grandsnake-in-law.
Plus, as I mentioned before, this is the biggest key Shyam could have to wreck Arnav really good and proper. This information is WAY more dangerous with Shyam than with Dadi Ji. She may have only stopped Arnav's wedding with Khushi. Shyam may use it to wipe out Arnav and Khushi completely.
Anjali
That was indeed miraculous healing. She was super-critical when Shyam was not there. By the evening, she is cooking kheer for him, and he is being diabetically sweet. (That was SO corny!)
Anjali is SO bright the next morning and declares that they are going for Arnav's wedding functions.
Er... Anjali! Have you asked Arnav? It is his wedding!
She really does think Chhote is still Chhote and will get married because she is now ready for it. Now, that she has Shyam next to her, she is all sensible and caring towards Arnav.
Extremely quick, her senses are restored.
When Arnav objects, she still attempts to reason with him.
Wow! She is truly walking down the footsteps of her dear husband!
Others
1. Nani ji, Mami Jaan, NK are totally in shock and in extreme disbelief over Shyam's mockery of apology. Glad to see that NONE of them fell for it. Not even Akash, and definitely not Payal.
2. NK, ⭐️ BRAVO!!!
I'm SO glad NK did an Arnav today! He spoke up SO well where others did not and made it clear on everyone's behalf that Shyam was faking it.
Way to go, Nanhe ji!!
3. Dadi ji finally likes one thing about Khushi – her mistake!
This one also needs to visit the shrink to get her eyesight checked! I'm sure her specs expired 15 years back!
Precap
Anjali is explaining to Arnav about Khushi's decision to call Shyam.
All of a sudden, her sensitiveness to Arnav and her sense to give advice is back!
But Arnav – NO! Anjali should not be the reason for you to proceed with the wedding functions. That's the totally wrong, unacceptable reason.
Proceed, but for Khushi and for you. Not for someone else. You've made that mistake once. Don't do that again. Marry her, but for her and for you!
