I cant do justice to the scene, but yet i am just speaking my mind here.
Beginning from the last scene yesterday, at the hospital , when she took her step back. She had prepared herself for this, but probably never thought how it would be when she really had to face it. She held back for a moment , the fear coming to her, hugging Viren tightly in a attempt to gather some strength, some courage. He kissed her reassuringly, wiping off her tears. She seeks the support in him and walks ahead, only to realise again and turn back. Here one sees the pain in his eyes , as if he wants to stop her, call her back, but just cant .
the curtain closes on her apologetic face and the shattered viren.
Right from the day her pregnancy was brought into light or even planned on the show, this was expected. As much as one would have wanted not to see this happen ( and so called polling, even if it had gone against jeevikas decision) cvs would have done this.
So what was left was to hope and only hope, they did some justice to this track.
And after todays episode , i believe they did it.
The procedure had killed one life and three souls.
She walked in with fear and guilt, she walked out lifeless.
She didnt say a word, blink her eyes, let down a tear,
it seemed as if her neurons had shut down for a while,
but no there were too many emotions forming in her limbic system that none were shaping up.
He witnesses the battle inside her and the lifelessness as a consequences, requests her to speak, asking her to respond, as her silence was killing him even more.
She breaks down only to utter his name as he lets her cry away.
Stepping back into the house was difficult, but even more is to step into the room. The room, which has the sweetest memories , that- what is only left with now.
He lets her lie down, facing the photos , recollecting the moments, to turn at the voice of her cry.
Hugging her, cudlling her, helping her fight the pain.
Besides all this what touched me most was Viren. A fathers pain , who says is not as much that of mothers?
Viren is shattered. She at least has his support at every walk , but where will he confide.
He cant cry , which might weaken her more. He cant sound shattered.
But he just cant bundle up the emotions.
He lets it out in solace (recollecting that vv bro convo, closer to me than any other pregnancy based scene). As he holds the sink and slips off on the floor, crying, it breaks every heart .
If not for anything else i am thankful to Cvs for bringing out the pain and the turmoil not just today, but the last one week.
and to karan and krystle for doing full justice through the act.
