What I loved about today's episode (there was probably nothing I didn't like as the whole episode made a lot of sense)
1) Indu was just about to open the boot of the car when he's saved in time by the arrival of a past-acquaintance - a police officer - can you beleive it?š²
Indu's past assistance to a police officer had managed to save him in the nick of time, as the man who'd arrived there was the person he'd helped in the past. I'd always wanted to see glimpses of Indu's so-called political might and managed to see it today. Btw, I loved and was surprised to see a police officer calling him 'Bhaiyyaji' š
2) The entire episode was rightfully morose. During the burial, Sanchi and Mehek's emotional farewell to Rubina and Indu and Abhimanyu's practical attitude of dealing with the situation (burying her body) was quite well directed. š
3) Mehek, Indu, Sanchi and Abhimanyu having a normal (tensed, but normal nevertheless) conversation within the confines of Mehek's ambassador was something we've never witnessed in RJN.
4) Seeing the sum of 10 lakhs in that briefcase, none had any reaction beyond pain. The money didn't seem to have an iota of effect on anyone - not even on Abhimanyu! They were more worried about the person behind the schemes. How ironical reality is, isn't it?
5) When the briefcase didn't have the property papers, Sanchi quickly arrived at a few shrewd conclusions -> i.e. that the person who's killed Rubina = person who took her papers = the person trying to trap them now! They didn't take much time to do the maths š
6) Sanchi's lifeless expressions all through - she was devastated about what she'd just done. In fact, she wasn't even half as affected on the day Indu had forcefully dragged her and wedded her as she was today! Pooja acted very well today. š
7) Abhimanyu comforting Mehek was something different - however, seeing that he appears to be the least affected of the lot, I still wonder if he is as straightforward as he seems nowš¤
8) Midnight; Indu is walking home with Sanchi - pulling his bike along (probably so that they don't cause any noise) Indu too tries to comfort Sanchi, but remains unsuccessful!š
9) Sanchi/Indu were just about to get into their room at 2 am, when Sada mama catches them. Indu had to swiftly hide the briefcase - well, the way he slipped it behind the door was timely! Soon after, Indu had to change his expressions and make an excuse for their late-night outing. Bringing on a forced smile, Indu acts like he had been out on a stroll with Sanchi - Sada interrogates him many times over but Indu manages to shift the situation in his favour by asking Sada about his whereabouts instead. Anyway, the whole scene was a treat to watch.
Firstly, Aniruddh has acted so well here showing a multitude of expressions at the same time - The pain in his eyes about the recent incidents, the awkward situation he was in when he was trying to hide the briefcase, his turmoil when his mama was cross-questioning him about his whereabouts over and over and yet managing a forced smile to act like he'd been out enjoying himself with Sanchi. Not many actors can achieve this today AD wah wah to you! š
10) BEST SCENES OF THE DAY
Both Sanchi and Indu couldn't get themselves to sleep. Facing opposite directions, Indu and Sanchi twist and turn around till they turn back to face the ceiling. Now, what followed actually made my heart skip a beat!
Looking beside him, Indu notices that Sanchi can't sleep - her eyes are open. In a very casual, yet concerned manner Indu stretches his hand out and places it on her forehead - softly grazing her eyes shut. He does this a few times over, trying to console her so she could go back to sleep. A few strokes of this and it actually did the trick. The girl managed to fall asleep - Seeing such a caring scene for the first time in RJN assured me that the leads are so capable of sharing amazing chemistry if the CVs gave them a chance to do so
11) Needless to say, some time later, Sanchi has a few nightmares and wakes up screaming - thus waking Indu up too.
She doesn't take too long to reach out to him and immediately hug him (like as though she didn't even need a second thought to do so), the way he consoles her with such care (like as though it was his responsibility to do so) The entire scene made it appear as though they'd been married for years and years and yet they aren't even a proper couple yet! It was a treat to watch āŗļø
PRECAP
Even in the precap Sanchi is pouring her heart out to him and the pained Indu is finding it difficult - difficult to watch her grief, while at the same time trying to comfort her. Loved the INSA scenes today - few but very meaningful!
