Is barun sobti Hindu Punjabi or Sikh Punjabi - Page 2

I've always had him down as being Sikh and he got married in a Gurduwara. One question that I have if anyone can help me is it necessary for Sikh men to have Singh in their name like girls have Kaur? Also in SP dramas there are lots of Singhs, for example Arnav Singh Raizada, but they are hindu, so how comes they have the use the name Singh, it's always confused me, can anyone help?

Well according to wikipedia he is from a Hindu Punjabi family, oh you learn something new everyday. No matter what mazab, zaat paak he is, he seems like a great guy.

I am damn sure he is a sikh p.

I am sikh punjabi..but I think he's hindu punjabi. His wife is definitely sikh punjabi...her name says it all

Not that it even matters haha but I think he's Sikh Punjabi! I'm not sure but yeahh.. in BHPH days he grew his beard when he was getting married and I thought that was a Sikh thing to do? Also those saying that Wiki says he's Hindu Punji, I wouldn't go according to Wiki because before for like the longest time ever it said he was Sikh so it's obviously been edited haha! But either way heyy he's Barun Sobtiii! Gotta love himm no matter what he is!! :)

How does this matter? He is smart, talented, handsome, funny and makes most of the gals go ga ga!!
