FF - The Mistake#1-Chapter Five *COMPLETED*

It was a different life , a different beginning for Khushi. All she wanted to do was forget the past and move on.

Today was her mother's birthday... she called home to buaji as she was feeling lonely... while talking buaji accidentally mentioned that her father had taken his "new" wife to Paris for their honeymoon... new!!! She knew that bitch and he had an affair for years... even her mother knew but she never let khushi find out... it was only after her mother's death 6 months ago that she first saw the woman... she thought that bitch is her father's secretary whom her father saw as a daughter... that night while going through her mother's stuff she came across a diary where her mother had written all her pent up frustrations... khushi never knew her mother had been so unhappy... it broke the illusion she had that her parents were the best couple in the world... that her father loved her mother a lot... 4 months later he married that bitch...

Khushi packed up her bags and flew to US and just yesterday got enrolled to do her masters in Computer Science Engineering in Harvard... 24 year old only and already doing her masters...her mother would have been proud she mused...

So here, Khushi Kumari Gupta, a single 24 year old was sitting in a bar...

"What will you have miss??" the bartender asked...

"one shot of straight tequila"

here's to my admission in Harvard... she gulped it down in one go...

"Are you sure miss?? You seem pretty drunk to me"

Khushi got up with a jerk...

"shit...shit...shit...I'm late...I'm late...that too on my first day

oh no...oh no...

Oh god my head is spinning...why khushi why??? why did you drink so much last night?? stupid, duffer girl "

"Could you shut up I'm trying to sleep"

that was when khushi noticed a naked guy sleeping next to her... she noticed that she didn't have any clothes on either

"Oh god what did I do!!!!"

She pulled the bed cover tightly over herself

"Hey it's cold" said the guy looking at her. "Hi" he said in a husky voice

"You need to go"

"Excuse me!!!"

"Leave!!! Now""

"Thats not what you were saying last night"

"Well I was terribly drunk last night"

"So was I"

"Ok lets begin again... What's your name??" said the guy extending his hand after putting his pants on.

"I'm not interested to know who you are... I want you to leave... now"

If Khushi thought the guy was easy going he proved her wrong. He grabbed her by the shoulder "How dare you speak to me like this...do you even know who I am??"

Without giving her a chance to answer her he took his shirt and left the house...

Khushi sighed in relief... rushed to the toilet... got ready... had aspirin and medicine for her headache and rushed towards the university.

"Hi I'm La"

"Khushi here"

"Nice to meet you khushi...this is NK"

"Hey Khushi"

"Hi NK"

"So we three are the only Indians this semester"

"looks like it"

Just then the professor walked in. "Hello everyone this is Dr. Richard. I'm glad to see you all here. I know you guys are exceptionally talented to be sitting here. Hope you guys have a nice year."

He seems nice, Khushi thought

"Well normally this class is taken by me but this year your class will be taken by an exceptionally brilliant young man. Only 28 yet has won awards. Please welcome Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada"

Khushi was busy doodling on her notebook.She raised her eyes to meet dark chocolate eyes of the guy from the morning.

The pencil fell from her hand and the notebook he was carrying fell from his hand.

Hell!!She thought!! Did I actually sleep with my professor!!!
