The opening scene of the episode/closing scene of yesteraday's episode was badly done. Essentially, when Mahakali stepped on Shiva, she
froze, and then let out her tongue. It just defied credulity. Normally, what would one do if one stepped on another person? One would
instantly remove one's foot, and then go on to apologize. Whereas Mahakali froze. Not convincing @ all.
Also, if Durga invoked Mahakali yesterday, how did Mahakali change back into Parvati? She should have ideally fallen @ Mahadev's feet herself, since it was she, more than Parvati, who stepped on him. If this is part of Triangular Puranas, I'd rather that they'd have shown Mahakali herself fall @ his feet & apologize to Mahadev.
So rest of it all was Parvati's rhona dhona, and after getting home, almost getting Nandi back to his usual crying self. 😆 But if she wants to do prayashchit, Mahadev is already there - she can just fall @ his feet, grab his legs & not let go. Anyway, tomorrow, they'll come up w/ the 'Shiva stepped on himself' argument to exonerate her of any sins, so I guess that's cool.
And finally, Himavan & Mena are back. I'm so happy when they make a comeback. Although, if Parvati is in pain, shouldn't Sukarma & his wife be the ones worrying, since it's now Parvati's post fisherman's birth? Whatever, I'm glad that Pankaj Dheer is back. I can't stand the idea of them disappearing for good - I want them to make occasional return appearances. Ganga too (well, she'll be there @ the births of @ least Kartikeya, if not Ganesh).
My only other qualm - if they could blow the whole of today's episode on Parvati's repentance, why not give Ma Durga & Mahakali more time? Like yesterday, they could have had the episode end @ Parvati taking the form of Ambika, and today, they could have started w/ Dhoomralochan, done Chanda & Munda tomorrow, Raktabheej Wednesday, Nishumbha Thursday & Shumbha Friday. That would have done justice to the whole thing.
Anyway, look forward to Himavan visiting tomorrow.
